thank you for offering this combo smoke/monoxide detector “all in one”. Is very convenient for a few apartments I have. just knowing I have 10 yrs battery life makes me feel more relaxed knowing that I will be protected from smoke and monoxide. the price is really good and the unit itself looks really good, not bulky.

These are absolutely essential if you live in a larger home, or a home with multiple stories. I live alone and my home is 100 years old. I also sleep on the second level. I am a social worker and have seen too many child deaths due to fires, so I started to worry a lot about my own safety. I was primarily worried that I would hear a smoke alarm until it was too late to evacuate my room. These beauties solved that. One thing I would improve is the instructional packet. I was able to get them set up, but it could have been a bit easier if explained better. Highly recommend.

It was not that difficult to hook them all up. Trick is to set one up, and then synch the rest with it or each other… read that direction first, it helps! Tho I wish attaching to wall in a level could be made better.

I like that their for both smoke and carbon monoxide so you don’t need multiple detectors and their linked together if you want so you can be notified if one is triggered in a different room. Although they are not cheap but for their capabilities it’s worth it.
