This is my first time ever buying an air conditioner and I’m super satisfied with this one! I got the 8,000 BTU and it worked perfect for my cabin on a camping trip and kept me and my family cool. It has the option of air conditioning, dehumidifying and just fan and they all work great. I have used it in my bedroom which is a bit of a larger room and I’ve noticed it doesn’t cool as great as it does in a smaller room. I would recommend getting the 10,000 btu if you are trying to cool a bigger room in your house. I am still very satisfied with the product. The installation was difficult for me with the foam pieces and the other plastic attachments that form together for the window won’t fit in my window so I just use the piece with the hole. The remote works well too. The air conditioner doesn’t make much noise at all and if it does I think the issue is it just needs to be drained which I’ve been doing frequently to keep it intact for as long as possible(at least once a week). The air conditioner itself looks great and not tacky and the led light on the front to tell you what temperature it is makes it look higher tech and classy if you will lol. When you turn it on too it’s just like the videos and (excuse my lack of wording lol) air dispenser opens up automatically and it looks so cool! My only wish is I wish it had handle bars for carrying up and down stairs but it has wheels that I’m happy about. There’s sorta pockets on the machine to carry it kinda but they’re not the best for carrying. My overall review is for the price- the quality is outstanding and you would’ve thought this was a 500-600 dollar air conditioner. It took me months trying to figure out which air conditioner was worth it and this one definitely is.

I bought this portable AC for my home office and bedroom area upstairs. As one of the many WFH people I now need to spend a lot of time at home and keep air conditioner on all the time for the whole house is not the most energy efficient way, and my home AC quit working in the hottest day 3-year in row! Got this unit last week and so far it’s doing a fantastic job.Shipping is very fast. Installation took less than 10 mins and very straightforward. The board used on the window is adjustable so don’t be nervous – I was for a second. Power on and that’s it. I started to feel the cool air immediately and the room temperature starts to drop after 10 mins or so. I also like the remote control – don’t have to walk away from the Zoom calls to make any adjustment as I was used to. The unit itself looks clean and high-end. Definitely a statement piece in the WFH time!It’s not a cheap product. If you had similar experience of calling for & waiting for AC contractor to help in 90F+ days, you’d agree with me that the price is very reasonable for a life-saving back-up, or an smart/alternative way to cool down part of your house.

If you are tired of installing & removing heavy window AC units twice a year, dealing with trying to clean the moldy/mildew smell out of them, etc.. then this is a very simple solution! We purchased 2 units, one for each floor of the house. Each floor is approximately 700 sq ft. These units are very effective in cooling the house quickly & quietly. In the beginning, I read the manual from front to back, and we had each one installed in about 15 minutes! I’m sure it will be faster each year, as we are more familiar with the installation process.I was a little bit confused about how to drain the water out, so I contacted customer service. They were VERY fast to respond, and continued to follow up with me each day until we realized the problem was that I didn’t understand that you must unscrew the cap on the back & ALSO the rubber stopper, to drain out any water as the unit removes humidity from the air. I give their customer support team 25 stars for helping me to understand the unit, since it was such a simple thing I was missing. They were very kind & patient & professional !!Having a portable unit on wheels will make it much easier to store over the winter months, as well. No ugly units hanging out the window anymore! I love that my house is cool all the time without smelling like moldy window units, which really bothered my allergies each year. My husband is very happy with my instincts to buy these units, as he is getting too old to carry heavy window units up & down the stairs each year, as we had to store them in the basement. These 2 units will be stored in their original boxes in a spare bedroom closet over the winter, and will not accumulate mold from the dampness of a basement.We are fully impressed with these 2 AC units, that replaced the need for 6 window units that we previously had to deal with each year! Trust me, you will NOT regret this investment!I would even recommend them for people who have central AC, as a backup plan, since those units always seem to break down on the hottest days of the summer, and then all of the AC companies are backed up for days!TEN STARS FOR THESE AIR CONDITIONERS- 5 for each one we bought! : )

This air-conditioner is perfect room size. We’ve been in our house 29 years and never had to purchase one. Ceiling fans always worked, especially at 6800 ft above sea level. Well this year was different, with temps reaching close to 99 outside. We were finally able to sleep in comfortable temps My husband turns it on at 4pm, and we are comfortable by the time we got to bed at 8:30-9pm. Off again we we get up at 5am!Great little machine and east to install 😊

Bought first one on May 4. Sat in box for 3 weeks until needed. When set up does not get cold. And after running starts to have burn smell. Emailed company and after prompt response, was eager to make right and replaced the defective unit. New one works perfectly.

This air conditioner itself works amazing. But, one of them is really loud when the compressor shuts off. I have 2 and the other one isn’t like that. First of all, the 1-800 number isn’t even taking calls, so you have to email. I did get an email back within 24 hours, but they just sent me a trouble shooting chart, which didn’t include the actual issue. I haven’t heard from them since, and I’ve sent 2 emails. I’m giving this 3 stars because of the customer service. The actual unit is great, and would give 5 stars for that.UPDATE:I did hear back from customer service after a few days and they sent me a brand new unit, no charge. So changing my review from 3 stars to 5!

I was a bit bummed when I chose this product on July 14th and was told it wouldn’t arrive until July 26th, as we are in the middle of a heat wave. But fortunately they delivered the item today and it is now working in my roommate’s bedroom (where he stays pretty much 24/7) and he is very happy with it. I tried buying three other A/Cs first, only to be told they were unavailable. This cost more but we were desperate and I hope it provides us years of cooling comfort here in southern California.

Only upset that I paid $579 for it last year! They must take advantage during heat waves. Anyway, we moved to a mountain home that doesn’t have central air. I didn’t think we would need it, and then summer hit. Having central air installed in a 3,000 sq ft home would’ve been out of our budget but this unit has been great. Our living room, dining room, and kitchen are one large open area, and this has kept us comfortable and cool–even with vaulted ceilings. I should add that we are in a drier climate that is not often humid at all, and we have a ceiling fan, so I’m sure that helps. Since we only need it a few months of the year, it’s very easy to uninstall and store in a closet the rest of the year. I have another smaller unit for our bedroom that is actually louder than this larger unit. It’s really perfect for our needs. If you just need it for one room I bet you can make it snow! 🙂

I’m always leary about portable AC units as my past experiences have been less than great. HOWEVER with that said I’m all in for this unit it installed quickly with very little fuss don’t think I had to cuss and fight with the window vent at all, the exhaust hose fits nicely into both the plate and the unit. With in 30 minutes of running the unit the air temperature dropped significantly and within 2 hours I had to adjust it back up to a more comfortable setting. The moving louver inside the unit is a nice touch as it actually makes the air move to help with the cooling of the area making the unit a bit more efficient. One of the biggest shocks for me is that I have had the unit running for 12 hours now it has cycled on and off several times and I have not yet had to drain it out (this is my less than great from my opening statement) the remote is straight forward and easy to use it is also the only way to turn on and off the louver function or change the unit from Fahrenheit to Celsius digital read out. The functionality is straight forward 3 setting AC, dehumidifier, and basic fan function (while using the dehumidifier it’s recommend that you set a constant drain to avoid having to drain the machine every couple hours)Special note: when turning on the unit it may take up to 3 minutes for the cycle to actually start this is 100% normal and is in place to protect your investment it is recommended you set the unit at 65 then readjust it to a more comfortable setting.Depending on your window you may need to trim the plastic piece that holds the exhaust line to fit correctly I found a rotary tool to make quick work of this process.

My previous a/c unit was no longer cooling my IT room so I decided to try this unit I found on Amazon. The BTU power of the unit is what initially captured my attention and I was looking for a unit that could maintain a certain temperature to protect our all important server which is critical for our daily operations at our medical facility. This unit did not disappoint. I cannot comment on how long the unit lasts and whether any maintenance will be needed as I just recently received the item and put it to work, but the electronic equipment is constantly on which in turn requires the unit to be on for a large chunk of the day so I should know soon enough whether the unit is dependable in the long-term. The unit is also quieter than the previous portable a/c unit we had which came as a pleasant surprise. When I initially received the unit, the electronic buttons on the unit did not seem to work, but then I tried the remote control, it seemed to reset the electronic buttons on the unit and the buttons on the unit seem to have been working fine since then so please do not automatically assume the unit is broken if the buttons on the unit do not seem to work – try the remote control first before contacting technical support. So far so good!
