Love it…. Easy install and looks great. Quality built and sturdy and has some weight to it. Hanging the mirror is like hanging a picture on the wall…not rocket science. Now we come to powering the mirror. Some have taken the attached cord with plug and simply plugged it into the bathroom outlet for a quick and easy install. I wanted something cleaner and more of a professional installation. I decided to put a GFI outlet behind the mirror and plug it into that. I took the power lead from the overhead bath fixture to power the GFI….that’s ok, however, there is a small flaw with that plan. When you enter the bathroom you simply turn on the lights and the mirror naturally comes on. Also adjust the mirror any way you wish and viola you are set.Except…..if you just want the mirror on you can’t do that the way I have it wired, because the wall switch controls both the overhead light “and” the mirror power source… So if you want to be really precise and have an independent mirror with it’s own switch, you would have to run a separate line to the GFI instead of tapping off the current bathroom fixture…..something I may change in the future. It’s not a big deal the way things are now and I am quite satisfied the way everything works….it’s just a matter of personal choice about the separate switch. Although I understand there is a way to install a remote control switch and outlet, without running a separate power line….that I will have to check out and report back later…. For now, this is a great mirror, the heating pad on the back does a fine job in keeping the mirror fog free…. It does power off automatically after one hour. The mood or mode switches work as advertised choosing the color combo’s you like. I use what I call the “hotel default” mode….which is what it is out of the box…lol….. The lighting on the mirror is bright, and was super surprised to see how bright it was. I will keep my overhead lighting now, just in case I put in a separate wall switch for the mirror at a later date. This mirror really adds class to this bathroom, makes the room more up to date and modern and clean. The thickness of the mirror (glass) itself it quite thick, better then some others that I have seen. The price on this mirror was unbeatable. Of course like anything else…shop… Cheaper is not always better….so spend a few more pennies and buy this mirror, this is a no brainer. The mirror will give you the reflection of perfection and the backlight adds that certain element of elegance and class to any bathroom. Guests will be impressed….Now the flip side of these generous comments….the actual “true size” of the mirror of 40 x 32 is more 39.5 x 31.5…and comes packaged in Styrofoam front back and sides. Has wooden corner blocks in the packaging to prevent damage. My package looked liked it had been in a small battle and the corner of the box and side had been punctured and broken. I was scared to open it and find a damaged mirror. Well, five stars to the packaging and crating department, the mirror suffered no damage and was perfect. End result…I’m a happy camper.Trust this review will help someone make a decision on this product, which is available in various sizes. I found that selecting a mirror slightly smaller than the vanity length (mine being 48″) I selected a 40″. Makes the room actually look bigger and more impressive….again, it’s personal choice, however from a design standpoint, it’s a better choice…. So go and make yourselves happy and enjoy a new upgrade of elegance and class to adding one of these wonderful mirrors to your bathroom….you deserve it.

I received my gigantic mirror that was almost 6’ wide and to my disbelief it arrived perfect. Not a single scratch at all. I’m a builder and we buy high end mirrors all the time that cost 3-6x as much as this mirror does and they often times arrive with imperfections in the glass. Here’s where my story goes a little off track.. this seller send me a total of 3 mirrors. The first one malfunctioned and the 3000k light didn’t work after a few weeks. They sent me a new one.. it arrived broken because the shipping company mishandled it.. I thought okay this seller is going to tell me tough luck. But.. they sent me a 3rd one! And it’s working perfectly. Not only did it arrive in great condition the mirror is flawless and look amazing. Some of the high end mirrors we install have a frame that you first mount to the wall, and then the mirror mounts to the frame, so that will be the only difference between this mirror and one that costs 3-4x as much. I’m truly very happy with this mirror and the awesome customer support I received from this seller. The frame is extruded aluminum that’s powder coated white. The leds are probably 600/m and are very bright, both side and front are the same brightness. The sandblasting quality for the front lit diffuser is very sharp and makes a nice outline when the lights are on. The side diffusers look great. I don’t know what more I can say. If this seller continues offering this product and the service I received then I will recommend it to everyone on a budget. You basically get the same quality as a lighted mirror that’s 3-4x the price for less with the only drawback being a 1-piece mounting option. This is a very minor setback, if you can hang a piece of art, you can hang this mirror. I’m very happy with it after a few months of use.

It adds a touch of class to our bathroom. It is fairly thick, to allow light to flow around the sides. I do kinda wish the cleats were longer to have a better chance of hitting a stud. Overall, a very nice mirror. Well packaged and arrived a day early. I thought about hardwiring it, but just installed an outlet. That makes it easy to just plug it in, and hang it up, and remove for painting etc.

This is a great mirror. It looks nice, and it seems to work well so far. It is pretty heavy, but that’s not surprising since it’s a large mirror. Unfortunately, I can also confirm that this is indeed tempered glass, because I shattered one when it slipped off of the corner protector and fell half an inch to the tile floor. Be careful when moving it and unpacking it, because it doesn’t take much of a fall with something this big and heavy for a hit on the corner to break the whole thing. No one was hurt when it fell, though, because since it’s tempered glass it just broke into little pieces in the box. I like the mirror enough that I just bought another one right away. I recommend it.

The box it came in was pretty dinged up so I was afraid the mirror would be broken. Upon opening it was not broken and was very well packed. The protective static cling plastic that covered the mirror was pretty scratched and gouged up so I thought the mirror would be too but once the plastic came off the mirror was unharmed. Hanging the mirror was easy once its place was settled on. Two people to hang it is ideal but Im fairly sure one person can do it if they are somewhat strong. The only thing my husband did differently with hanging hardware is to put one screw in a stud on each end. If hanging in sheetrock only you will want to get much better sheetrock screw holders than what comes with the mirror. What comes with the mirror wouldn’t hold up the mirror securely

We bought this mirror for a small bathroom. It looks beautiful and is very functional. Do not need any additional vanity lights. It illuminates the wall behind it as well as provides lights for make-up and personal grooming. I highly recommend this product

Update: Shortly after writing my initial review the company asked what they can do to make it better or more what can they do to make me happy with the purchase. The short answer is nothing, I’m not going to remove the old mirror to put up a new one because it was a pain in the rear end to mount (not because of the mirror or mounting hardware but because my wall was not straight and bowed in 1/2″ in the middle. I told them it wasn’t a viable option to send out a replacement because the heater wasn’t working as it should, or at all on my mirror, but I could live with it if it means I don’t have to mess with it again by myself (I wouldn’t have a helper this time). What it boils down to, and why I gave this a 5 star rating, is this company reached out to me and was willing to do just about anything to make me happy with the purchase to include sending out a replacement mirror because the defogger wasn’t working. You don’t always see that type of customer service with companies anymore but when you do find it, you tend to stick with the company in the future. I will DEFINITELY purchase another mirror from them when I renovate my other bathrooms.Original Review (3 stars):So you’re looking at this mirror because it has built in lighting and heat, am I right? I’ll tell you my experience about this product and what you can expect.First thing’s first… I absolutely hate it when manufacturers and sellers over promise their products to make it look “better than the competition” and then under deliver, it’s just bad marketing.Pros:Quality of the Glass – Unlike other people who have purchased this type of mirror, I received mine with no defects in the mirror making the reflection distorted. the glass and reflection were amazing.Built in lighting – The lighting does the job, it is color changing as stated in the description & bright enough to see at night. Dimmable to adjust to your liking.Built in heater – Defogs the mirror… sort of.Mounting – The manufacturer gives you a “Z” bracket (meaning the top sticks out just a touch for the mirror to drop onto). I would HIGHLY recommend opening the wall and putting a support beam in place between the studs. Additionally, make sure your walls are not bowed. I ran into this problem when I was installing mine and the center of the mirror had a 1/2″ gap between the mirror and the wall where the edges were flat against the wall, one of the brackets was not perfectly straight and I was not able to drop the mirror on it properly almost dropping my mirror on the floor so I had to use shims to make it work. I would have preferred a much different style of mounting (such as setting it on screws in a keyhole shaped insert or just screw holes to mount to so it can’t be knocked off and fall). Overall, mounting was not difficult but it isn’t the most secure mounting system.I know what you’re thinking… “Well, if it does exactly what it says it’s supposed to do, why are you only giving it 3 stars”Cons: These have more to do with over promising and under delivering this product…Light – More specifically, the light output. The manufacturer (or seller, only labeled as “Amazon Customer”) advertises this as 15 lumens per LED and a 48×32 mirror is outputting 9074 lumens. The mirror I purchased is 60×28 and is NOWHERE NEAR 9k lumens. I have a 16′ LED strip I was going to mount outside in the driveway that is 4k lumens and is brighter than this mirror. Yes, I understand this mirror is only 14′ total diameter but it’s actually more than that, there are 5ft top/bottom, just over 2ft on the sides (we’ll say 2ft) and you have to account for the total on the front and back of the mirror… closer to 26 – 28ft of LEDs total. Unless, of course, they combined the LEDs on the front and back of the mirror in which case it is way less than advertised. An 8k lumen mirror would have to be dimmed for most people, I have mine set to max brightness with no problems. According to their calculations, this mirror has a total count of 192 LEDs per meter, we’ll say this mirror has roughly 4 meters of LEDs (top, bottom, and sides) (4 * 192 = 768) so we’re looking at roughly 768 LEDs total, each with a light output of 15 lumens (768 * 15 = 11,520) so I should be looking at roughly 11,520 lumens of light output. This should absolutely blind everyone that looks at the mirror. My 2200 lumen flash light is brighter when aimed at the ceiling and reflecting to the bathroom. Finally for the light, the seller makes it seem like you can turn the front and back lighting off individually, this is not possible, I have tried every combination of buttons on the mirror to make only the back or only the front turn on and I cannot do it.Built in Heater – There is a pad on the back side of the mirror that appears to be a heating strip. Well, when the heater is turned on, it either cannot heat up enough to defog the mirror or it is not an actual heating pad or it is a heating pad but not connected to power. The total combined area of “defogging” is 6″ x 6″ in the center where the controls are.Do I recommend this product? Possibly… at this price ($479), probably not. There is a $50 “extra savings coupon” for me at the time of writing this review. So why did I purchase this one when there were other possibilities out there? Next day shipping. I needed a mirror quickly and most others were either a week wait or longer. I was doing a bathroom renovation and the contractor could not continue until I had a mirror there to setup (since we were replacing the light bar in the bathroom) and determine where the power wire was going to be moved to.

This mirror is just what we needed. Our bathroom has high overhead lighting that is good in general but not perfect for grooming activities. These mirrors solved the shadowing problems perfectly, and love that the wavelength can be adjusted from cool to warm. The only issue initially was that the blue backlighting on the buttons is so bright it was actually emitting blue light into our bedroom (which is not the best for a sound sleep). Although the description on Amazon indicates that the button lights can be turned off, I could find no instructions for exactly how to do so. After some experimentation, I can happily describe the steps here. What I learned is that an extended press of the heater button will also turn off the button backlight. You can either hold the heater button while the mirror light is on, which turns off both the mirror and the button backlight, or you can hold the heater button while the mirror is off, which will turn off the button lights. To turn the mirror on again you first touch the heater button, which will reactivate the buttons and then you can turn on the mirror again. One note on the settings memory though. Once you turn off the mirror using either the off button or the heater button, be sure to wait at least few seconds before turning the mirror on again in order to preserve the memory. I like to keep my light on the warm setting but I found that if I turn on the mirror LEDs too soon after turning them off the color will reset to the cool setting. It would be an improvement if more details about the operation were included with the mirror, but for the price I still award it 5 stars.Update 11/1/23: After a few days of usage, while I still love the mirror I just wanted to correct my previous statement that the memory will retain the light color setting. It turns out that the memory does not retain the color setting for more than a few minutes and always reverts to the cool setting regardless of whether it was turned off with the off button or the heater button.

Can’t find any customer support for this product. I bought a 60×36 and I love it but the dim button doesn’t work. I bought this while I was remodeling my bathroom. I had to pay for installation and now after taking the plastic off everything is good but the button for dimming button doesn’t work. Hopefully someone contacts me about is. It is a beautiful mirror. But for now I have to give it only 1 star because I have to give at least 1 star. I will update if I am able to get this resolved.Customer service is great they contacted me right away, asked for a video of the problem. And just like that I have a new mirror as a replacement. I would be glad to buy from this company they standby there products. They also make beautiful products. Thank you

This mirror was the cherry on top of our bathroom renovation. It could be a great way to upgrade your space even if you’re not remodeling. Love that it comes in so many different size options, too. The light settings and the dimmer feature are great.
