After years of not having a printer at the house since my last died, finally had to bite the bullet to get another. While not a whole lot of printing happens at the house, it became clear that going to the local library to print things off when needed was annoying.The price of the device was fair. I found it pretty easy to set up and be able to print to, modify default settings, etc.The print quality is not the best, but I also wasn’t looking for something with premium print quality. Not to say that I have found the quality to be poor, because it is not, it does a fine job.

My old printer finally died after 15+ years. Because I am not very teck savvy so reading the reviews I decided on this printer because you could set it up online or with USB cord. I used the USB cord because that is how my old printer was setup. I really, really like this printer.

This printer works very well. I had no trouble getting it set up. I needed more ink-the ones that came with it were dried up, despite what the ad reports. I am using a cable to connect to my laptop and there is no internet instructions for the most part. Just connecting the cable and the minimal task of setup. It only will print single pages, increasing the cost of paper. but it is oh so easy to use. I bought it for a second printer since my expensive one malfunctions about half the time. Glad I did! My final cost, with rewards was about 71.00. Making me even more happy.
POPUP –
The price caught my eye and it looked better than the previous Brother I threw in the trash. Being a diehardHP user and going through one a year, I decided to try this new Brother out. Surprised me! It works great and cost a lot less than the HP’s! So far, so good but I’ll let you know if that changes. The 1st Brother I bought went into the trash almost right out of the box! Nice change to your printers Brother!I don’t print that much and never do any pictures so I can’t tell you how they come out. I don’t see any problems with the print quality, so I gave it 5 stars.

After putting up with a complicated, undependable, unintuitive, jam-prone Canon printer I purchased this reasonably-priced brother MFC-J1205W printer and have been very, very pleased with the quality of print, color, dependability, intuitive operation. Just no hang-ups!

Replaced my horrible HP printer scanner with this specifically because HP ink and intrusive applications. DON’T BUY AN HP IF YOU VALUE YOUR PRIVACY. All your scanned or printed documents pass through HP servers.Very happy with this printer. A good value without th HP issues.

I am a teacher and our building doesn’t have a color printer so I decided to buy one to print the essentials. I was looking for two things. 1, something that doesn’t cost me a ton in ink. 2, something easy to set up. I looked around a lot because I hate trying to set printers up. I decided on this one because of all the good reviews on and off of Amazon. I also bought a cord to connect it directly to my laptop. I got it out of the box set it all up and ran into a snag. I couldn’t get it to connect to my schools Internet. It’s a problem with the server not the printer so I can’t tell you how hard it easy it is to set up wirelessly. I plugged the cord i bought in and it printed right away. I don’t need it to print from my phone anyway. I have been printing a lot of stuff and it hasn’t ran out of ink yet! It prints very well. I love it! It’s worth it!

I bought this printer to replace my old Epson. I did a little research on various printers in my price range and this one came highly recommended on several different review sites. I like Brother’s sewing machines, so why not their printer?It arrived safe and whole and was a breeze to install. I encountered a little hiccup when connecting it to my WiFi, but that is because my modem is junk and is no fault of the printer. I do wish a cable had been included but buying one separately isn’t a huge bother. I love that a year’s worth of ink is inkcluded (haha) so I don’t have to worry about refilling for a good while.So far I’ve only printed a few documents for work but they came out looking nice. I’ll update my review if my opinion on this changes once I print more things.
