I thought I’d roll the dice to get my wife a Christmas present that was a little “out there”.She loves her peaceful time in the morning away from distractions and really needs that before her day starts. Her coffee is precious and this mug keeps it warm as long as she wants to sit and read, think, stare or do whatever it is she does in those quiet hours. She certainly doesn’t need to rush because her coffee is cooling down.

All fancy mugs seem expensive, but for a “desk” mug they are fantastic. Mine lives beside by computer. Bluetooth connection, temperature and charge condition indicators and more. This brand is a good value, especially if you take more then ten minutes to drink a cup of coffee.

Bought this for my husband for his morning coffee to stop him from complaining that his coffees get cold quickly. This mug works really well to keep the coffee hot at the desired temperature. Using the app is much faster and better than manually adjusting the temperature on the mug itself but the app is not required to use this mug. The lid is not really leak proof and it will spill if you turn it upside down. I didn’t take off a star for this because honestly it is hard to design a leak proof lid for a mug that still allows you to sip on it without taking the lid off.

My husband loves this for his office!, it has a great design and beautiful gold colour, it can be controlled with the phone app very easily, he uses it with android, yet it also works with ios, awesome gift! useful and techy!

One of my co-workers has a mug like this and I’ve been jealous for a while. Now I have my own and I love it! I also have plenty of mug warmers so I am really ensuring that my tea doesn’t get cold. I drink a lot of tea.The mug is pretty cool. It charges on a coaster-like device that has to be plugged in (duh), but the charge lasts a decent time. I usually set it on the charger at the end of the day when I’m going home (from work). It turns on when it detects liquid inside. Sometimes this doesn’t quite work and the manual on/off button is on the bottom which is a bit awkward. But often it just works.I like drinking out of the mug. The handle is good, and the weight is good, and it’s pleasant on the lips. I don’t like the lid because it’s plastic. But it’s a nice option.I haven’t tried any app. No thank you.

This is actually terrific for that all-day coffee sipper, because unlike warming coasters, which only keep your mug at a tepid temp, this entire mug stays warm! The mug itself is temperature-controlled, so you can keep the coffee at a pretty hot setting (150 degrees – franchise stores generally serve coffee around 165 degrees while an extra-hot would be 175-180 degrees and be hotter than boiling water). The temp is hot enough that it doesn’t feel like you’re just drinking lukewarm sludge all day, but not so hot that it burns the coffee. You can’t switch out different mugs, because otherwise you would only get the warming coaster feature, so you do have to use the black mug itself. Holds the charge for almost a week, too! Perfect in-between temp for those who find franchise coffee too hot to drink when it’s served, so they like it cooled just a bit. Truly maintains that temp until you turn it off (and there’s a safety feature which auto-turns it off if you stop lifting the mug to drink after a while).

Edited to add this tip: If you set the cup down too hard it pushes the button on the bottom and turns the mug off. I too wondered the first time it “shut itself down on it’s own” until I realized that no it did what I told it to do. It’s not actually that easy to do as you have to hit it just right but I suspect that is what is happening to other people who are having mystery shut offs.I have really been wanting to try a self heating mug because I am really slow to drink my coffee every day and I don’t always want to use large travel mugs. The price has previously been a deterrent for me until I saw this one. The brown (which is actually more of a pretty bronze) caught my eye and I decided they had been on the market long enough to work out the kinks. I did notice it says improved for 2023 so maybe the one I got is better than what other reviewers got because I didn’t have any of the issues other people claimed to have. I did not want to install the app so I took some time to figure out the manual controls. I didn’t find them to be super intuitive on their own and the directions were a bit difficult to figure out, but once I got it all worked out it is actually really easy. The mug stays programmed to your preferred temp and turns itself off and on so once you have your favorite settings there isn’t anything to even touch. There are several heat settings and I cranked it up to high (6) for the first use. Wrong move. It’s really hot! I wound up setting it back at 4 where the default is and it was perfect. I am able to get about 4 hours of active heat time out of mine. I think the reason I am getting slightly longer out of mine is because I am not using the app which I assume relies on bluetooth and by not constantly having the app monitor it there is less battery usage happening since it’s focused on heating only. Final note is that the mug is kind of heavy. I personally like it because it is much sturdier. I can even set it down on my couch and not have it fall over, but it does also make it tough to recognize when it’s almost empty. It turns itself off when it is empty so it’s not a problem safety wise but mentally I like knowing when I am getting to my last sip so sometimes I get surprised and find I am already at my last sip. Seriously that is only complaint I can find, so don’t worry about the skeptics. Get this mug. It is as amazing as we are claiming.

I absolutely LOVE my temperature-controlled smart mug. It is definitely a game changer for my morning coffee and a standout feature is the automatic induction, and why I’m giving it 5 stars. What great innovation! When you fill it with anything hot, it turns on automatically and turns off when it senses it’s empty. I’m a slow coffee drinker, and with this mug, every sip is perfectly hot. You can also adjust the temperature with an app, which is pretty foolproof.The design of this mug is also very nice. It is easy to charge on its charging base and looks nice with my coffee setup. The lid is designed well and doesn’t leak or spill. It also keeps my drink on the go for almost a couple of hours. I take this on my commute to work and it keeps it hot all the way to work and more.
