This clock is great. Waking up to warm light and soft noise is much less stressful way to start the day. I struggle in winter to get up with darker mornings, which leads to me skipping gym before work and makes me feel even worse. I’ve only used it 2 days and it’s much better. The app is easy to use and I like that you can navigate it via phone, so I can keep it on dresser instead of nightstand .

My wife loves this so much!

There was a mixup on my purchase but I was able to get it resolved with their customer service and it was exceptional. I received the product I originally intended to order and it works perfectly, the light imo is plenty bright and really does simulate the sunrise fairly well, for me it has made waking up a fair bit easier as I wake up when it’s still dark outside.

I have some criticisms about this, but they are mostly just suggestions for iterative improvements to the product. It works well as a sunrise clock, so overall I’d say it’s a good purchase. However, I do have a few little gripes.First, it has four buttons along the base, but I have yet to use the two on the right. It also has three touch buttons along the top, behind the rim. Those are used as plus and minus for changing settings and the one on top in the middle is used for turning the light on and off. I would greatly prefer to use the two buttons on the right of the base for plus and minus rather than the touch buttons. During my first attempt at setting the alarm time, I accidentally touched the top button and disrupted the process.Second, the charging base is behind the unit. The design of the unit makes perfect sense without the charging capability, so it seems more like an afterthought rather than an intentional design decision. I would prefer to place the phone in front of the unit because it’s easier to see if I have placed it in the correct location. Wireless charging can be a bit finicky, so I need to be sure I got it right.Third, while setting the alarm time, one of the options is for the duration of the sunrise effect, but for some bizarre reason the globe lights up after every change to the setting. You get maybe a second of opportunity to see the duration it’s at before the globe becomes too bright to discern. Maybe this choice was made to illustrate what is being set, but it interferes significantly.Fourth, I’m not entirely sure what would happen during a power outage. I tried unplugging it for a moment and it seemed to retain its settings, but how? Does it have a capacitor? Does it have a battery? Does it display the time of the power outage as if it is current time when the power is restored? I would prefer to have a replaceable battery like a 9V. That’s what classic alarm clocks used as backup. It could even do a periodic test of the battery like smoke detectors do and display a warning indicator when the battery gets too old. Sadly, this does not seem to be addressed.Overall, this is a nice way to gently wake up, but I won’t be using it without a backup alarm on my phone.

I own several Dekala sunrise alarm clocks including their most expensive model. This one is about mid-tier range and works well for most people. Like with most clocks, the settings have to be made manually with buttons with buttons. Once you get the hang of how to do everything, it becomes simple enough. If you want to control everything from a smart phone, you have to upgrade to a higher end model called “Dekala Arches.”The sunrise aspect is cool and really does work for helping you wake up. The wireless charger is also convenient, but it’s located in the back, so make sure you make visual confirmation that your phone is being charged. There are several relaxing sounds (8) and different light modes. Personally, I think the Arches is the best value overall due to convenience, but if you don’t feel like spending that much money on a clock, this is a good choice too.

The nursery night light version of the Dekala lamp provides a bit of good, steady light. While not particularly bright, it’s a nice glow. This is true for each different one in a wide range of well-rendered colors. Selecting preferred colors can be difficult as his model cannot be controlled via app. It does not have a remote, either. Everything is controlled via a series of things communicated using the power and a dial. Which from time to time can be tricky, but is always challenging.

I go to a spa that has a mood lamp like this and have wanted one for my own bathroom for a while now. This one ticks all the boxes for me. USB powered, no bluetooth or app needed, very affordable, dimmable, and easy to use. Don’t get me wrong, I use smart lights all over the house, but sometimes you just want something basic that doesn’t require your phone to turn on. It passes the wife test too. I really like how diffused the light is too, you can’t see the individual leds and the colors a blended together completely. For my night time showers when I want to relax before bed this is going to be my go-to light. If you need an affordable easy to use mood light this is the way to go, especially if you get a couple of them. I’m very happy with it. It is very light weight, since it’s just plastic, that’s the only “con” I’d say because it looks like frosted glass. I also like how it remembers the same mood lighting you used, so you’re not constantly clicking the button to find the one you used last time. I do wish the input on the back was usb C and not USB to a barrel plug but it’s not a big deal for me. You get the USB wall plug in the box too, my iPhone doesn’t even come with one these days.

I’ve got a cluttered nightstand and cats who like to get up there and knock things off, so I needed a solution that would serve as nightlight, alarm clock, and charger – this does all of the above. It took me a few minutes to set up, and I still forget where Snooze and Off are for the alarms (which is good because it makes me actually sit up and figure it out).I love the way the light gradually brightens in the morning, helping me wake up slowly, much less distressing and starling than my cell phone shrieking ;The Narwhal Song’ at me at 8am, so I’m a little calmer at the start of my day.

Delivers such fun results and does what is intended.. creates a mood or ambience with this atmospheric light to be enjoyed by any. Love the bubble shape.. that in itself is such a fun feature! Made with thicker frosted plastic face to hide interior bulbs/mechanics so, when turned off- the look is an unassuming disc.. not too large to take up space or look out of place. Plastic body actually gives reassurance to use in a toddlers bedroom as a nightlight! One button to rule them all!! Located on back side its used to filter thru options by using the “click” method!! Not my favorite as it’s the one feature I wish was different.. especially if used as a nightlight! It’s harder to x1 click for patterns or x2 click to change entire color palette and easy to not know what pattern you’re on in the process! Good news is: I don’t find any color option disagreeable! They’re all pretty great.. AND- when shut off/on.. this has memory and will return to the choice you left it on!! If only it had a color coded remote option to make it far easier and provide a total convenience to go with it- it’s the one feature that was missed!Light is plenty bright to bring a great mood enhancer or nightlight for reassurance.. this is a fun addition for child or adult alike. X4 star design but, x5 star enjoyment.. Hoping info can help you- stay safe everyone.
