This purifier was purchased to help reduce the dust in the house and provide cleaner air. It does the job admirably. The air quality generally hovers around 1-2, with spikes to 45 for cooking and 65 when all the neighbors shot off fireworks for the New Year. It quickly cleared the air and returned to its normal low setting, Dust is noticeably less and the air quality good. It takes awhile to clear cooking odors but that is because this is an open floor plan of about 1500 square feet and the unit is not rated for that many square feet. I plan to get another Himox air purifier to cover the entire area, As it is, it does a great job of purifying the air, removing odors and reducing dust. The sleep mode is not used as it is nowhere near the bedroom. The unit is super quiet. The fan unit does blow cold air so reduces the temperature of whatever area in which the unit is placed. Altogether a great unit for a great price for what it does in the house.

We purchased this to use in our bird room, and it does a fantastic job. There was a harsh plastic smell at first, but that went away in the first 24/48 hours and the device works flawlessly. The app makes it nice and handy to control, and the live PPM count is helpful to ensure the room remains clean and particulate-free.

I love my new himox air purifier. It’s super quiet. I have an open floor plan so I placed it between my kitchen and living room, and it does a great job picking up any cooking smells from the kitchen. It also does a great job in my living room. I have three dogs that can get smelly at times and the air purifier does a great job with that also. I give this product five stars and highly recommended.

I love my new purifier. Everytime my air quality changes in my house such as door opening, heat turn on, cooking. It changes quickly. It works fine and I feel comfortable spending money on great quality. It is safe and I keep it on auto. The only thing is I can not get it to sync with alexa, which would be nice. But the app works well.

Update: So after 2 months of continuously running this air purifier, I’m here for an update. I’ve included a picture to show all the nasty stuff that has been purified from our air the past 2 months. I have major issues with dry eye/meibomian gland dysfunction/autoimmune disease and whenever I go to someone else’s house now it flares up. This sounds crazy I know, but I swear it’s because of the air purifier! My air just feels so much cleaner and helps my health issues so much!!! ALSO, I run an in home daycare and had a child bring in HFM disease. I ran my purifier on HIGH and sprayed briotech disinfectant into the air and on the air outlet part of air purifier to disinfect the air and none of my family members o myself got it at all! However, 3 other kids from 2 separate families and 2 of the parents all got it (and they all quarantined) Call me crazy, but I SWEAR it’s due to this purifier. I’m totally SOLD and want to buy more small ones for my kids room/playroom. YOU WONT REGRET BUYING THIS!!!Old review: I love the size of this purifier and the noise level is insane! Even on its highest setting, it’s barely noticeable! I sometimes go check just to make sure it didn’t come unplugged or something. The purifiers (different brand) in my classroom are louder on the lowest setting than this one on its highest. I’ve noticed a big difference in our upstairs air but our basement I use dehumidifiers and this purifier. We are still dealing with a musty smell but it’s gotten better! I love the fact I can see what’s causing “toxic air” in our home. We just got a puppy and any time he comes inside it shoots up which is something we were also concerned about. I’ve started wiping him down when we let him in and it seems to be helping quite a bit. If someone forgets to take off their shoes it shoots up as well so it’s super interesting to me to see in real time and also confirm what I’ve been thinking all along but I also feel so much better having cleaner air especially when we can’t open the windows to let fresh air in!

I was running oreck air purifiers for the longest time, they all finally capped put on me. Every month the collector cell needed cleaning. They were nasty but not sure how much it was truly helping, so I finally looked into replaceable filter models. I came across this one and it seemed to have many features I liked. I like it has a washable pre-filter and that it can adjust based on pollutants in the air. This summer has been especially hard on my allergies with all the smoke from forest fires and dry weather, so it nice to see the air quality in my home. I also like the wifi feature so I can monitor from anywhere. If I leave for a few days, I can turn it off or on low, then turn it to high for a few hours before I’m home.My only complaint is that I wish it would draw air in from multiple sides and not just the back. I feel it’s limited on it cleaning abilities strictly because of that. There would be more placement option if it could draw air in from 2 or 3 sides like another model I have from Himox. The other model I have doesn’t offer H14 filters though. Fingers crossed they’ll come out with an H14 filter for that model.Overall I am pleased. It does look a bit like a trash can where it’s sitting, but I like clean air, so it’s a draw haha
