I had two objectives in this purchase: 1) provide a back-up air conditioner to our house’s central air in case of failure (a friend had to wait 5 days in sweltering heat for a repair opening), and 2) evaluate cooling just our bedroom at night rather than cooling the whole house. This unit is semi-portable (it is heavy so moving up/down stairs is a bit of a chore) and can be installed in various window types. We installed this in our bedroom. We keep the house at 75 or 76 during the day but would always turn it down to 70 or 69 for sleeping. Now we don’t touch the main thermostat but just flip on this portable AC in our master bedroom. It cools the room down quickly, is not too noisy, and seems economical. The documentation is generally clear but there is one feature that it did not address – the unit has the ability to “wave” the output vent. That waving motion is only controlled by the remote control. I spent a long time trying to figure out how to do that from the base unit but found I needed to use the remote to toggle it on or off. Also, found that having Mode = Cool and Fan=Slow works better for us than Mode=Auto. We have not used this to cool the whole downstairs as we would if our central air would ever fail but I suspect it would take the edge off any high temperatures which is what we’d want. All in all, this was a good purchase for us.

My ac unit was delivered with care and it was easy to unpack.I have casement windows so I bought a special window attachment already set it up prior to the arrival of my unit.Assembly of the hose was easy and the instructions in the operators manual was easy to understand and very clear. I was also able to register the unit and connect it to the app and using my home wi-if.It does get a bit noisy when using the higher fan speeds for the cooling mode. For the fan mode, the fans are not as noisy. I was able to sleep through the noise even without earplugs. The noise of the unit just sounds like white noise and drowned out the traffic noise from outside.It cooled my 450sq foot studio apartment really well, granted that I had closed the door to the bathroom and had dark curtains. I can also turn my ac unit on while I’m away from home in case I want to come home to a chilly apartment.Overall it is a well built ac unit and I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Decided to get this update my 10 year-old air conditioner at least 10 years old and pump up power just a little bit. This is very nice and efficient. The Wi-Fi connectivity is nice and so it’s the little bit today that it grabs about the weather outside and humidity at cetera. I do wish this would connect with the Amazon smart home but okay it’s an air conditioner and it makes the room colder so it’s a win.

I replaced. an old Frigidaire dehumidifier and this works just as well if not better with half the size and noise. I’ve had it over a month and been running it full time. It works well and no problems.

Living in a 90 year old tri-level home, our home a/c isn’t strong enough to cool the top floor to our satisfaction. This unit has allowed us to sleep comfortably during our Virginia summers. It’s not the quietest unit on the market, but it almost functions like a white noise machine. We are happy with the purchase.

This was a gift for my daughter who was pregnate during this hot summer. Her home does not have air conditioning so it was a very welcomed gift right when she needed it. She loves it.

This portable air conditioner works great as a second air conditioner in our camper. We have a seasonal camp site so we turn it on with the wireless app on our phone before we leave home and it’s cooled down when we get there. I am very happy with this product.

The only thing I have a problem with is finding a container that can hold the run off water from the dehumidifier for more then 4 hours. The tube is low so it is hard to find something to catch it so that won’t spill on our wooden floor.
