I’ve used an electronic lock from Teeho before, so I was confident in their product but had an opportunity to upgrade to a smart-er version with wifi and Bluetooth. Let me be the first to say that this does not disappoint. The installation was seamless due to replacing my previous Teeho lock, so that really helped, but in case it’s your first lock, it does include plenty of accessories to help in varying door configurations, so you should be able to replace most standard locking mechanisms. Also included are 4 batteries, which I thought was nice as their previous version had no included power. As I said previously, the installation went as smoothly as it could be. Maybe 10-15 to completely remove the previous one and install the new one. After that, I downloaded the app. The app emails you a PIN, so make sure to check your junk folder as that PIN is needed to register your account. You have a 10-minute window where the pin is good, so if you can’t find it right away, give it a moment. Mine took about 1 minute to receive. Once you click on Add Device, it defaults to the lock that you’re going to install and you just step through the instructions by doing a factory reset (hold until you hear a ‘beep’ which is about 6 seconds). It will ask you to create a Master Password, which is the default or Permanent, but you get 3 additional options Schedule, Temporary, and One-Time. These are great for cleaners, if you run a rental like an Airbnb, or you need someone to go into your home for you, but it’s a one-time thing. LOVE this feature as I can provide a code to my landlord to do work when I’m not there.Adding to Google Home was super simple. Just make sure to select the option of “Works with Google” and then you will search KK Home. It prompts you for the login credentials and that is it—less than 30 seconds. Where I got tripped up was when using it from Google Home, you do get prompted for a PIN. To get that, you need to go into Settings, and only after you have paired it, there will be an additional like that says “Unlock by Google Assistant”. Click that, you will find a default Voice Code that you can either enter from the Google Home app, or Google Assistant will ask you for that code. At the bottom is an option to change it to something more easily remembered. The only item I’m still trying to figure out is how to program the door sensor. The instructions are easy enough, but I can’t find a prompt or setting for it in the app and I’ve been clicking around for about 30 minutes. A few Google searches and I still can’t find anything on it. Yes, the steps are in the guide and on the internet, but how to navigate to it in the app isn’t anywhere I can find. I’m not going to knock it for that since the positives outweigh this feature that I can do without, but it would be nice to figure it out. If I do, I will update. There are other locks out there that cost much more, but this is a winner that performs at a higher price point than it is. I can’t recommend it enough.

This lock works better than I expected.Installation:It is easy to install. It comes with all parts needed. It can be with or without the rectangular plate. It fits perfectly on the previous bolt lock location. Only thing that sucks is the need to add a extra hole to the door to give support to the keypad. This is standard for most keypad door locks I’ve worked with. This comes with a extra wide opening in the plate the deadbolt goes into. The likely reason for this is that it has an autolock feature and most times you have to push/pull the door closed while locking manually. The autolock doesn’t have the pressure to align the bolt to the plate. I think I would have rather have the bolt tip to be chamfer so it can guide itself into the hole. I might do that with a grinder.. Any case if the hole doesn’t align up the lock would beep a warning. Note the bolt lock has a beep telling the operator the locked without issue and a warning when it doesn’t due to obstruction.Linking to the app:I followed the instructions and the app linked to the lock seamlessly. The app has different sections but if you treat each section separately, it isn’t too bad to use to setup users.. The sections they have are eKeys, Passcodes, Cards, Fingerprints, Authorized Admin, Records, and Settings. The sections I worked with so far is the Fingerprints, Passcodes, and Cards. The Fingerprints section easily programs the fingerprints of a user. Just press the Start button and it will beep on the lock to start tapping your finger on it to unlock the door. The Passcodes is the keypad code needed to unlock the door. Also pretty straightforward to do. The Cards is to register the RFID cards and it too is pretty simple to do following the screen. One thing you have to be aware of is that your phone needs to be within 1 meter of the lock or it would give an error message.Usage:Fingerprints has been very reliable in detection. I rarely had to tap my finger on the pad to unlock the door. The time it did fail I wiped clean my finger and it worked. I might suggest to program the same finger multiple times in different conditions (wet and dry) which will increase the likelihood of it opening it on the first try.The RFID worked every time. The pass code works every time but is a bit annoying to tap in when compared to the functionality of fingerprints and RFIDs.Issues:One thing I wish they had was WiFi. This way I can remotely unlock the door if needed. However I could always program disposable passcodes so once used, I could delete/change it later. Since the app does a good job of linking up to the lock, this is a quick process.Other thing is the Records doesn’t get updated unless your near the lock and actively requesting the Records (History). I’ve been using it 2 weeks and the Records showed only the day I had press the records button. The last issue I’ve seen is when using it to autolock.. I once saw that it partially locked but not all the way. I would say that this is a failure. The door felt locked but since I was able to manually turn the knob to lock it more all the way,.Over all this is a good deadbolt lock even with the issues. Note I haven’t tried defeating the lock. I’m sure someone could defeat it but it would take time. Faster to break the door open than break the lock..

I’ve tested a few smart locks from this company and as of now I’ve never had a bad one. This lock is easy to install and set up. It’s so nice to have the security of not just a strong lock but knowing you’re not going to be locked out of your home. I highly recommend this lock to anyone.

Leave the old days of carrying separate keys for separate locks. With this cool new digital deadbolt, all you need to remember is a four digit code and your in.Delivery was quick, arrived the next day after ordering and installation was a breeze, took less than 10 minutes. Recommended to everyone.

This isn’t my first lock by TEEHO and I have to say that I have never been disappointed by one their locks. This one is well made, easy to use and it just works. I like that this one is app controlled and it uses the fingerprint reader. You can give people who need access a code, so you’re not passing out keys to everyone. A small thing but one that I think matters is that this one has a keyhole cover, and it looks much better. The only thing I don’t like is that this requires you to have a 2.4G Wi-Fi signal, and that isn’t as common as it used to be, so be sure you do, or can have it added, before purchasing this lock.

Great smart lock, I can open and close it from my phone! It was very easy to install and set up. You can definitely unlock it in so many ways, and when all fails, you still have the option to unlock with a physical key. Overall a very nice smart lock!

Our primary bedroom has an exterior door going out to our pool. When we are entertaining a group, we want to be able to lock our bedroom door, but also unlock it without carrying a key around. The door is mostly glass, so we were concerned a smart lock might be too bulky to fit between the molding around the window and the edge of the door. This lock fits our door nicely with a small border of extra space. The placement of the fingerprint reader is in a more natural position than our other smart locks. Great for just resting a thumb on it.We like the clean, solid look of the lock. The fobs are reasonably small with a smooth, glossy finish. They look nicer than a pair of fobs that came with a different smart lock we have. Setting this lock up was super easy in the app … it recognized the new lock and paired with it quickly. Recording fingerprints and pairing the fobs with it was simple. My other smart lock uses the TTLock app which looks identical to the DDLock app required by this lock. I did have to download the DDLock app in order to register this new lock. However, once registered, both apps recognized both locks, and within either app I was able to transfer all of the fingerprints, fobs, and codes from the other lock. This was a nice bonus! Now, a single set of fobs gives us access to both doors … and we have an extra set of fobs that we can give guests when they are staying with us.Of our 3 smartlocks, we like this one the best. It does help that we already had a gateway that works with this lock so that we can control it from anywhere via WiFi.

This five in one door lock is made from quality materials. I don’t for see any issues with the construction of this product. It’s a fairly decent price compared to others on the market. it reads finger prints easily and the touchpad is sensitive but not too sensitive. Wi-Fi is built-in, but it only goes the 2.4 and doesn’t support 5G. I recommend reading the instructions in full before installing as it will save you time in the end. Overall, I’d give this an A+.

First off, install was very quick and easy. Took me about 15 minutes to have it programmed and installed in the door, ready to go. I really appreciate having multiple different ways to lock and unlock the door, as well as being able to make and give out scheduled, single use and temporary codes.
