I purchased these after trying another brand that I could not, for the life of me, get it to code correctly. An extremely frustrating experience. The brand that I purchased before had a piece jam inside the lock and break. That one lasted about two years and was much pricier. Before I gave up, and just return to a regular lock and key that I know SHOULD last me years, I thought I would try one more time with this lock. I just needed simple anyway. After those experiences, I decided to go low price and if it only last a couple of years, at least it wasn’t too pricey. When I got this one, it surprised me just how easy it was to install and program. I was so happy with it that I decided to replace several locks on my house and business with it.

(SEE UPDATE BELOW)Definitely not the easiest thing to install, depending on your current setup. However, the little microchip that powers the electronic lock just fell out when I was installing the batteries. So it only locks with the key. Super disappointing.UPDATE: The company reached out and sent me a replacement lock free of charge. I installed it and it works great! I love the automatic lock function, especially with kids at home. You can program up to 20 different codes. I still had some trouble getting the new lock installed, but for the price and excellent customer service, I’d definitely buy this again.

We have a busy house with quite a few of us coming and going at all hours. (2 nightshift workers) I made multiple attempts to get extra keys made but none of them actually worked. This is a perfect solution for us. The door remains locked and keeps us safe, however we can come and go easily without disturbing anyone no. It was very easy to install, and it was up and running in a very short time. You can have multiple passcodes, so each person may use a code that they will easily remember. It does come with a key so that in the event you forget to replace the batteries, (it warns you when they are getting low) you still can gain access. Great product!
