I got two of these to remote control my Mitsubishi heat pump/AC units. I just plugged them in and they were able to pair with my phone and wi-fi right away. They also worked very well to copy the IR commands from my remotes.The Tuya app is pretty janky, full of broken english and UI that doesn’t quite work right / isn’t very polished. The builtin device library sort of worked but didn’t give me the full set of controls for my AC’s. I ended up creating custom presets and learning the commands from the AC remote. Still, I was able to get it to work and program the app to turn my AC’s on and off at the desired times each day. Not using Alexa.

I’ve been looking for a way to put my projectors on a timer since I use them for my holiday decorations.These do the trick for the most part. Only a couple times have they not worked. But still a great product.Setup is a little confusing, but easy enough to figure out.

This is a good device to have around. If you misplace an IR remote you can use this instead. You can program it for many different devices making it a universal remote. If you already have smart home devices like I do that run off of Jinvoo Smart Mobile Application or similar then you need not download and create an account on their proprietary app, just use the one you already have.My favorite use is to automate (create macros) for use on my smart tv. I can make a single button press that replaces what would be 10 or more.Where it came up short for me… 1) I really wish this was rechargable battery operated so you can easily place it where you want it, however a small power backup can do the trick. 2)I originally bought this to use its RF capability, unfortunately I was unable to get it to operate my morning star industry’s door lock. It learned the RF Remote key FOB however when I activate it the door lock does not respond.Even though it does not work for my door lock I sure think it’s a super buy and I may even get another for the bedroom.PS-I believe they said it will not work with door locks but I am desperate and had to try. I still need a way to access my door lock over the internet so I can remote operate it while I’m away.I used to have an insteon hub with a Morning star Gateway device.

Works well for both RF and IR. Instructions were specific and correct. Gave it 4 stars because the instructions are printed in 5 point font = difficult to read WITH a magnifying glass. The Smart Life app asks for your location, but after set-up you can skip this for better privacy.

Lo he comprado para automatizar mi aire acondicionado y el ventilador. El único problema es con la aplicación, me hubiera gustado que tuviera más modelos disponibles. La opción DiY es bastante buena.

It does work but you have to do alot of things for ideal setupDo not use Moes app, use Tuya App to make it function, also make sure your iphone and the device are on the same network and make sure you enter the password into the app EXACTLY I kept making the mistake of using the incorrect passwordensure private address and hide local ip tracking is disabled in wifi settingsit works on all my devices it has a line of sight of- however it wont reach the air conditioner on the other side of the house- id need another ir blaster for that

I wanted to write about this IR transmitter. My house I have made I to a smart house voice controlled. And this allows me to control my remotes that are IR. I use it on my TV and fireplace.

This item is a game system in itself. Remote problems go bye bye. If it can be Remote control work with the application and you can most likely get control. I even took over my kid’s Remote controlled truck with an Alexa routine ( good times)Easy to get started, but I suggest you try different reprogramming before you Alexa link. I ended up with 6 tvs 7 cable and 5 misc. That keep reappearing (Alexa glitch).Also some functions you have to tell Alexa to turn it on, or you get that top 50 Alexa song” device doesn’t support that.”Example:Alexa cable input onAlexa volume up onI ordered this item by mistake, but there is no mistaking the fun I have had since it has arrived (A+)
