I apologize in advance for this lengthy review but its important for me to explain why I wanted to purchase this Veezoom web camera.I presently have a webcam which I setup when we are leaving home for a few days.We are full-time RVers who have experienced in the past an unfortunate refrigerator failure.What an experience coming back to a defrosted freezer full of seafood !!!!This experience happened to us twice, so after a hard lesson learned I purchased and placed a wireless sensor in the refrigerator and one in the freezer that monitors and displays their temperature on a main display screen. I gave a neighbor a key and purchased a webcam that I periodically access via the app which is facing this temperature display so I can keep an eye on the refrigerator and freezer temperatures.I have used this webcam setup for awhile now and it works fine but realizing that my temperature monitor display has a temperature alarm which can be set to beep if the temperature raises above a set point, I started looking for a webcam that would notify when sound was heard at my home location.I shopped around and when I found this Veezoom web camera had a feature to send me a notification on my phone when it hears sound as well as if it notices movement I was sold.I downloaded the Veezoom app to my Android phone and installation was simple.Not only does this webcam send me the required sound and movement notifications I require, it has all of the additional features you would want on a webcam, two way directional, night mode, 360 degrees rotation, zoom and even a siren to scare away the unwanted.The picture, sound and operational quality of this webcam is much better than my present webcam.Some webcams will not reconnect to the wireless network in the case of a power failure, so to insure that this unit passed this test, I disconnected and reconnected it from power numerous times and it reconnected to the network fully each time !This webcam satisfies my requirements but just think what a great baby or dog sitter this will make !If you are in the market for a very nice, well-made Home Security webcam that has a stable phone app, look no further this is a great Webcam that will do any job you require !!As added information please keep in mind that this webcam will only connect to a 2.4 G wifi network.

This is an awesome indoor security camera. I use this for my living area. This does need to be connected to a power source at all times. The set up was very quick and easy. This does require you to download an app which is very user friendly. There are many features that can be done through the app. I am able to open the app and see my home anytime I want. I am able to speak to anyone in the home through this camera. I can adjust the volume of the sound. This has day and night vision. Also, another cool feature is that I have the ability to move the camera through the app. I am able to move the camera up and down and side to side virtually. If there is something going on at home, I can move the camera around to see the entire room. This is totally worth buying and checking out. I am very happy with this camera. The only negative thing for some people is that this cannot be connected to other security systems. I have Amazon Echo and I do not believe that I can connect this to my Alexa app. But it does not claim to do so and I will not deduct any stars for that reason. This comes with the security camera, the charging wire, instructions and accessories to attach this wherever you like. There is the ability to screw this into the wall or ceiling and this does come with the screws. The picture is very clear. There is also the ability to zoom in and really get a look at things going on at home. This gets 5 stars from me!!

I am impressed with this camera at the price point. It has everything I want in a basic security camera. This unit works independently (unlike some Ring cameras that requires a hub, just so you know). You can set/tilt the angle of the camera by the preview screen or from the Direction tab. I would say the alert sensitivity is high and I can view the alerts on the app. So far I can see that the camera alerts me if a human is detected and if it device lost power/internet connection (device offline notification). I’ve also noticed that the parent company appears to be in Hong Kong.The app is fast and controls are intuitive once you get it to pair. Only con is that the camera makes intermittent very LOUD sounds before it’s paired. I do see the volume control in the app once it is paired (but the setting resets if it loses power).I got a new router and had to connect it to a new network. The only way I got it to work is to delete the camera from my app AND reset the camera manually. However, this also cancels the subscription for cloud storage. This could be a welcomed feature but I had to manually extend the subscription even after I added the camera again in the app. Another thing I noted was that you cannot change plans until the current plan expires. Note that you must connect to a 2 Ghz network when pairing as the app cannot tell and will not warn you using a 5Ghz network.At the time of review the plus plan (30 days of history) is $6.99 per month and $4.49 for 14 days (basic).SD Card. Pan the camera using the preview screen or the direction tab so that it is looking all the way up. It uses a micro sd card (not included).

I got to compare it with the other security cameras I have at my house and I was not disappointed. This camera is easy to set up easy to use and has nice features even the high-end cameras have.The quality is super nice you only get SD and FHD which is comparable to 720p. The camera is not bandwidth hog which is nice since most homes have 60 million devices on the network. The build quality of the camera is good. The LED light is good and bright and the night vision is clean and clear. It doesn’t have a wide viewing angle but it makes up for that with the tracking freedom it has. It’s about 180 degrees in either good direction.The ease of use is straightforward. Yes, you have to do a little bit of work not just a plug-and-play. You first have to sign up through email. The app for the camera is on the Google and Apple Play Store. The app is super nice and has a clean UI. Scan the QR code with the camera and you should be set to go. It only works on a 2.4gh band and not a 5gh band. You have night vision, schedule timings, the tracking on it is wild detects if you are human or not, private settings, the alert settings list goes on you get a lot of added on in a small package. The only downside honestly is the USB cord is 3 feet long so if you are going to use this around the house invest in a 6 to 10-foot USB to USB-C cord. It also works on mobile data not just your network and has 1 and 2-way talking.Good camera whether you want it for small use or home security it’s got it all.

For the price, this is a nice little camera. It was super easy to set up. It is very unobtrusive. You can move it all around and pan up and down, but the controls for moving it on the Smart Life app can be a little touchy. The image quality is very sharp, and the night vision image is pretty clear. I turned off the motion detector warnings because I put this in my living room. It is very sensitive to motion which I suppose is a really good thing if you want to use it for security purposes. It does have to be fairly close to a power outlet, but I like that it is not dependent on batteries to work. It’s pretty cool it has both a microphone and speaker so that you can not only hear sound through the camera but also talk through it. This works because I have talked to my wife and kids from my workplace. If you want a simple security camera, this is a good choice in my opinion.

This is a very cool indoor pet camera and it has some great video quality,night vision and can rotate 360° with motion detection and two way audio.It works off of 2.4ghz wifi and you also need to power it using the USB Type C cord.It has an SD card slot and can also upload to the cloud.Now I can keep an eye on my pup in the back room.Its a very nice security camera for pets,you can use your phone and check in on your pet and even talk to them with the two way audio,it’s awesome!

I’ve been using this Security cam for a few weeks now to replace my old one and boy is this an upgrade. The camera automatically tracks movement and has really nice quality. Quick notifications regarding movement and even specifies whether it’s just sound or a human body detected as movement alerts with a quick link to live broadcast. Audio is good and the two-way speaking feature has not been tested as of yet but everything has been so awesome so far I have no doubts this is a great investment.

I bought this 4MP Security Camera Indoor, Baby/Pet Camera 360° Motion Detection to use in my camper when we are gone for our dogs. It took very little work to set this up after downloading the Smart Life app through the Google or Apple Play Store. I can watch my dogs in real time and that is what I got the camera for so this is a win. Also just a reminder that this webcam will only connect to a 2.4 G wifi network.

Very easy set up. Placed this in between my front door and storm door, by resting it on the closer. I can see deliveries and thank them. (scare them😆) We can hear each other through the glass door. This camera will actually reside in my main room so I dont have to get out of bed everytime my freezer makes loud noises. 😯 Very futuristic- acts like a robot eyeball. Highly recommend

There is a great deal of value in this order. This camera works and performs every bit as well if not better than the video cameras I own that demanded more money. The app used to operate it is stable and easy to upload and the picture is fabulous!
