Para mi es una excelente compra, porque es facil de instalar y de operar; porque el lector de huellas no registra errores como al parecer otras si lo hacen; porque tiene varias opciones de apertura; porque el negro mate la hace ver muy elegante; porque se percibe bien construida.Aunque posiblemente existan cerraduras con mejores prestaciones que ésta (WiFi, lector de tarjetas, etc), su precio la hace una excelente inversión por su relacion precio/calidad

I love Philips, you love Philips, we all love Philips products. It is rare that I’ll ever hear anyone say they did not like a Philips product. With that, Philips knows their value, and sometimes the price unfortunately matches that. With this fingerprint lock though, the price is more than right. My partner and I always have a ton of stuff to take to work with us, coming home with groceries, etc., our hands are full. Finding keys in either of our bags is a weirdly frustrating thing (that’s our shared character flaw for sure – what a small thing to be frustrated about haha).With that, I am always trying to find better solutions that increase efficiency and ease in my life. When I sa this it was ordered faster than a second went by. WE LOVE IT. My partner installed this lock and programmed it. He said it was fairly easy, the instructions were clear to understand and unbeknownst to me – there’s a backup in case the battery dies. The circular part that scans your finger will slide up like a scissor door and there’s a keyhole. We have a lockbox in our garage mounted on the wall that has a 4 digit code that we will keep that key in.The ultra-sleek, modern aesthetic of this matches exactly the style we are working towards for our home. I appreciate that the door announces it’s locked and unlocked since there is a delay after long-pressing a single number before it says “door locked” and turns red temporarily. We’ve had this installed almost two weeks and the fingerprint scanner only denied me once, however, I could’ve had oil or something on my hands from food, or makeup residue maybe? When I pressed my thumb onto the scanner with intention after the denial, it worked fine and hasn’t denied my entry since. We also tested this with my moms fingerprint, that is NOT programmed, and she shall not pass.I do wish this was app controlled, but I knew going in that it wasn’t, also hence the great value price point. When we eventually get another one for our front door, it will be this one but with the app. The garage isn’t too big of a deal because there’s no exterior doors to our garage. If there were… I’d want the app for piece of mind.11/10 recommend!

Philips has been around a long time in the electronics space. They’re a trusted, high-value/low-cost brand that has a tendency to get right with their offerings. This lock is another notch in their belt for this category of devices, delivering a nicely rounded experience without a lot of hassle on getting it up and running.The packaging is fairly minimal, and the instructions are easy to follow. I was able to get my manual deadbolt off, replace it with this one, and get it all configured within about 25 minutes. Once you have it ready to go, you set it up through their app, which allows you to operate it in multiple ways – via key code, fingerprint, Bluetooth, or regular manual key. The only thing you should be aware of is that it’s not a network lock – meaning that it won’t attach to your wireless network, so you can’t remote lock and unlock it as you want.Definitely recommend this if you’re looking for an inexpensive, high-quality/tech way to upgrade your front door game!

For this lock to be so high tech, I was shocked at how easy it was to install. Admittedly, I already had a deadbolt that I was replacing so I’m sure things get more complicated if you have to measure and cut for this. I didn’t have to. It is super sleek looking and the instructions were clear and simple to follow. I didn’t pay attention to the fact that this thing talks so that was a comical surprise. Programming is also simple. I can’t comment on the app because I am not using it. My fingerprint registered flawlessly and consistently works. I generally like Phillips products and this was no exception. Very nice lock for a very nice price.
