I bought this device to send me alarm if my pool water level decreased over the winter. Last winter one of my pipes cracked in my pool, leaked out and the snow on top of the pool cover collapsed the track and my coping. So far I have set it up, which was very straightforward and I’m getting a good Wi-Fi signal. The device is about 50 feet away from my router, so I’m really pleased with that. In testing, it is texting alarms correctly and texting again when the situation is resolved.

Setting up the device was straightforward, taking just a few minutes to complete. The stainless steel float sensor was also simple to install. The user manual is detailed and user-friendly, making it a worthwhile read for optimal use of the product.Two standout features of this device have impressed me the most:1. Reliable Wi-Fi Connectivity: Thanks to its external omni-directional antenna, the device ensures robust Wi-Fi signals. This is a significant advantage, as it remains connected in spots where my other smart gadgets struggle.2. Intelligent Notification System: Not only does it alert me to low water levels (it can be set for high level alerts too), but it also notifies me when the levels return to normal — a thoughtful feature that provides an additional layer of reassurance that I haven’t found in other brands.Throughout our extensive testing, the device consistently delivered timely alerts to our two registered phones and two email addresses. Additionally, the customer support experience was excellent; my inquiries received immediate and helpful responses. I Highly recommend it!!

I bought the Risinglink Smart Water Level Monitor to alert me when water filled a 3 ft deep dry well at the bottom of a shared driveway between my house and my neighbors. When the dry well is almost full of water, my neighbor’s basement starts to flood. We must then spring into action to deploy a pump to hold back the tides. It takes time to gather pump and hose and the Risinglink Monitor is our call-to-arms.My house is peppered with IoT devices: doors sensors, water sensors, motion sensors, light sensors, routers and switches, all under the management of two cooperating controllers: an Elk-M1G and an eisy from Universal Devices. So, I needed to integrate Risinglink into this digital ecosystem.Risinglink technical support were delightful. They suggested that I remove the 2 wires of the cable that connects the float to the controller at the controller terminals. I then bought 100 ft of 20 AWG matching cable, connected the float to an input sensor in the Elk-M1G through 60 ft of cable and the controller to an M1G relay with only 4 ft of cable. Now, when water rises in the well and the contact in the float closes, the M1G detects the closure and closes the relay. The controller then responds to the closed relay as it would a closed contact in the float and so delivers an email to me and my neighbor. Because the M1G detected the float contact closure, both controllers can now be programmed to respond by monitoring and reporting on the rest of the ecosystem.I think the float can handle these relatively harsh conditions. It is metal, sealed and quite simple in its design. Dirty, cascading water should be no problem. It helps that Risinglink Technical support is frankly the best I have ever experienced. I was, after all, using their product in ways it was not designed for. They were patient, clear and knowledgeable. The Risinglink Water Monitor is a great little device just now deployed. I will report back on its winter performance.

My wife has a Tower Garden which has a 20 gallon water tank that feeds the plants. To avoid the tank running dry and the plants dying, we needed a way to be advised when the tank gets low. I pondered some sort of float sensor but then found this solution. I drilled a small hole in the top of the tank for the cord, disconnected the cord from the unit, fed it through the hold and held it in place with a wire tie.The device allows “too low” or “too high” settings so it was the perfect solution for me. Setup was easy. The manual was a little confusing regarding repeated alerts so I contacted support and got a quick reply. I did mention that I read the manual and was confused and they quickly apologized and said that they would make an edit in the manual going forward. I was concerned that I’d be on vacation and get alerts every 5 minutes for days. For the record, it does only send one alert which is great.If you need to monitor liquid levels, I highly recommend this solution.

I purchased the Risinglink Smart Water Level Monitor to notify me when the water level reached the top of our underground rainwater cistern tank. I then run a pump to lower the amount of water in the tank.The notification system works well and eliminates the need to check the tank manually when it rains. This has saved me time and worrying if the tank was going to overflow.In the future, I hope to use the notification to start the pump automatically.

i maintain a multi user water system with a 714′ deep well and a 10k gallon tank. decided to go with an in-tank level detector that is wifi and text/email notification to replace the current analog alarm that has failed due to buried wire failure. this item totally fit the bill and price was very affordable. it has been in service for 2 weeks and functions as advertised. i reached out to their tech support for a brain fart on my part and was totally satisfied with fast, accurate, and understanding supportthanks;

Had trouble setting up my falt product support stayed with me till I was up and running .Used this to monitor my wast line worked great when my line backs up my bathroom would flood this send a alert to my phone and my wife’s worth every penny and then some

We have a water basin in our house in Baja. This product has been extremely useful in monitoring the water basis level and refill when it reaches a certain level. My only recommendation to further enhance the product would be to also make an electrical plug-in (non-battery) option available. Great Product.

I contacted support by email and had my question answered in 20 minutes. I’m using the the High Water Alert to monitor for flooding in my back yard, pushing the limits of the range of my WiFi.
