Extremely well designed. We’ve used these several times a week for a couple months now. The salt lasts about a month before a refill and the pepper about 5 weeks. The batteries lasted two months, we just had to recharge them for the first time last night.They look great, they work great, the size of the grind is adjustable, hold down a button and you get fresh ground pepper as easy as it gets. We had manual grinders previously because grinding fresh just tastes better than a canister of ground pepper from the store that’s been sitting for months or years losing all its flavor. But we were cooking enough that the manual grinding was seriously a chore. I didn’t want to go back to buying ground pepper but I was sick of our manual grinders so we bought these and love them.There are other electric grinders out there but I spent a ton of time comparison shopping and found these to be the best. After using them for two months I don’t regret our decision at all. Highly recommended.

I bought these after finding that ground pepper was so much more favorable than your usual table pepper. The key selling point for me was they are both rechargeable. Both come with their own cord. Additionally, I was delighted to see that when you push the button for the grinder (salt or pepper), it has a light that allows you to see where your salt or pepper is going. This allows for those who are self-conscious about the amount of salt they are using to see how much it is putting out. An excellent idea!

I got this one specifically because it has rechargeable batteries in it and charges via USB. So far I am very impressed and a little disappointed that I have been using manual grinders all these years. The other reason for choosing these grinders is that the bottom comes off making it very easy to refill. I’m not about to try and refill those other types of grinders that have a hole in the side.. no thanks. One handed operation makes these super nice when cooking or marinating meats. The built-in batteries are also removeable, so if they go kaput, you can keep using the grinders with regulars AAA batteries. That was a nice surprise.

These work like a charm. The light makes it easy to see how much comes out, so that we don’t over season. I love that they are usb chargeable. I did not want to have to find batteries. My only wish is that they came with a tray to set them on. Some sets do.

Wanted non tacky looking electric ones that didn’t take batteries. These things are great. 10 min charge when we first got them. We use them every day (not exaggerating). Didn’t have to charge them until SIX WEEKS later. Definitely worth the price. Just make sure you tell your guests that they do not twist… could foresee a few broken ones until more people hop on the electric bandwagon.

Ordered Ovente electric dual S&P mill that arrived DOA.. didn’t matter what brand battery I used. I ate that purchase and decided to order Sangcon electric rechargeable Salt and Pepper mills and so far they work as described. I really appreciate the bottom covers that came with sangcons for keeping S&P off counters and (usb) rechargeable batteries!
