Place cup on warmer, and it turns on. Lift the cup up, and it turns off. You do not have to wait for hours for shut off. It does not heat to blazing hot, but it keeps coffee just right for me. Auto on/off. One temperature. Exactly what I was looking for. Simple and effective. I used it for a week before writing this.

I own 2 of these. I work from home so I have one on my desk and one on a table for when I’m not working. I am using these almost 100% of the day. I will toss a silicone mug cover on my cup and leave it on the warmer all night, then wake up and immediately have a warm drink. One of these is on constantly. They work great and I love them. The point to this comment is that with all that use and always being on, one of them finally died. It is more than 3 years old. If you want a mug warmer that works fantasticly, will last a long time and put up with abuse (dropped, always on, spilled liquids, etc.), this one is the way to go. I can’t recommend it enough. Now I’m going to go finish my purchase of a replacement!

Big green tea drinker in the morning, I don’t like a lot of caffeine and I love this product. I don’t have to worry about turning it off because of the weight activated feature, the pink color is cute, the product is large if you have a small desk but fits most larger coffee cups ensuring the drink stays warm. The product doesn’t keep it luke warm, I don’t know how but it keeps it the perfect temperature, just hot enough but won’t burn the tongue. I have tried it with different cups and for long periods of time, it’s amazing!

I always have a cup of coffee or tea at my desk but drink slowly so I’m always getting up to reheat. My desk is glass so it makes my cup cold quickly. Problem solved with this easy to use perfect temperature heater. It does work best with a larger surface area so flat bottom cups are ideal. It’s wide enough to fit my glass tea infuser or my Bodum 1L french press so my coffee stays piping hot while its steeping. The bright light makes it easy to see if it’s on. I considered getting one with variable heat settings but found it wasn’t necessary for me.

This mug warmer is great. I tried a previous one that did not work with my regular mugs that have curved bottoms. This one works for all my mugs so far. I can actually drink a warm cup of tea before it gets cold, and it stays warm for hours! If I want my drink to stay extra hot, I just put a cover/lid over my cup and it keeps the heat in even more. While I like the feature that it turns on with the weight of the cup, I wish it had an on/off switch because I am always afraid I will accidentally lean some thing else on it and not realize it. Also, wish it had an auto turn off timer in case I walk away and forget to bring my cup with me at the end of the day. Also, wish the cord was longer because it’s only long enough to reach the floor and the warmer is at the edge of the desk, but I will get an extension cord and work around that because my tea stays warm!

I don’t write reviews often but this little guy has been quite a good addition. The temperature is not super high, but I think that may be because I am *not* using a flat-bottomed cup as you’re supposed to, but rather a more typical ceramic mug with a ridged bottom.The auto-on/off “gravity switch” (wow thanks marketing folks) has the slightly weird characteristic that it makes the warmer into a tripod when there’s no cup on it. It is not stable, and tips either way if you push on it. But once you put a mug on there, it goes down onto all four feet and is quite stable. It works but the implementation a little disappointing.What you’ll like, though, is that when you pick up your mug and there’s one or two swallows left in there, they are going to be *just hot enough* that you’ll be really glad for the mug heater.So I’ll give this 5 stars and ignore the good-enough auto-off switch. Recommended!

I rotate among several coffee mugs of varying weights. Engaging the heat when I lay my mug on the warmer has been hit-or-miss; however, I’ve found I can manually push down and turn it on. Once the mug is empty, I can lift it up and gently place it back down without turning on the heat. These techniques work most, though not all, of the time, which is nice because room on the surface of my desk is at a premium. I still have to fetch another coaster when I have water or another cold beverage, though.The friction between the base and my desk is pretty limited. However, I’ve had little issue so far with the warmer being dragged back by the weight of the cord.

I love this little thing. I use it everyday on my work desk. It’s weighted so I just put my coffee cup on it and it automatically turns on. And then it automatically turns off when I take my coffee cup off. My only complaint would be I wish the cord was a little bit longer or that it used a USB instead of a regular plug because then I could move it around instead of having to climb behind my desk and unplug it to bring it to the kitchen on weekends. But I’ve been seriously considering just buying another one for the kitchen. I love that I can use my regular coffee mugs now instead of needing to use a Yeti cup to keep my coffee warm.

In the morning when I’m doing my Bible study, I love to have my coffee. In the past, I would use thermoses, silicone lids to keep my coffee hot. I missed just drinking out of a coffee cup! I love this little warmer! I bring up a cup of coffee, sit it on the warmer and I’m good to go. It keeps it nice and hot as long as I’m using it.. I do not have to drink out of stainless steel mugs, or deal with silicone lids. Just lift and sip, I love it!! I ordered the pink one, and it is so easy to wipe clean. This is the route to go, no more thermos for me!

Stop shopping, this is the only mug warmer that actually works. I’ve tried a lot of other claimed mug warmers that do absolutely nothing for your drink; this one actually does keep your drink warm/hot. I’d say the only improvement would be if you could choose the heat level, but I’ll let it go in favor of finally finding a mug warmer that actually works.
