I got this for Christmas from my husband is the best tea kettle ever I’ve been wanting one for a long time and I’m so glad that he made this purchase for me. I use this thing every single day. Do you make coffee hot tea or just to boil hot water, which I’ll pour into another container. I have to make cold brew tea. The functionality is so easy to use. The temperature control is great. It’s very easy to clean and if you buy this, you will not be disappointed. It’s a great purchase.

Overall, I’m pleased with this tea kettle. I use this for tea and whenever a recipe calls for boiling water, like instant mashed potatoes. This kettle heats water fast. The only thing about the kettle that I wish I could change is. When you use the keep warm button, you would think it means to simmer, but this keeps boiling, and if you don’t get to it, I’m sure the water would evaporate pretty fast. The boil is too aggressive for it to be a warming button.

I really like the temperature control settings, so I’m no longer burning my more temperamental green teas. I haven’t tested it with a thermometer (I truly can’t be bothered), but I do know that my teas taste sooooo much better more consistently.This is a minor gripe that I have, is that there isn’t a setting for herbal/flora teas, but I’m pretty sure the boiling setting works just as well.I haven’t used it for coffee yet, but I’m sure it’ll do just fine.If you’re going to boil water, make sure you keep an eye on it, because it’s a legitimate roiling boil and will “burp” out water from the spout.Other than that, I think it’s a great kettle overall (including the strainer) and think it’s a pretty easy to use device.

this was a gift to my family member who goes out every day and buys an iced tea large from famous coffee shop for an unreasonable price. not anymore. lol. she absolutely loves the new tea maker with all the buttons for variety. her and her roommate love it. great for yourself or as a gift.
