This window cleaning robot has revolutionized the way I clean windows! The automatic water spray feature, with its ultrasonic nozzle, makes cleaning effortless and thorough. I’m particularly impressed with the remote control, allowing me to easily direct the robot across the window from up to 10m away. Its ability to intelligently calculate cleaning paths and switch between automatic and manual modes is a game changer. The double spiral cleaning head paired with a microfiber cloth ensures a deep clean without any scratches. Safety-wise, the built-in UPS and strong safety rope provide peace of mind. Plus, its versatility on different surfaces, from glass to flat walls, is outstanding. It’s a time-saver and a great addition to any smart home.

The media could not be loaded. I initially bought the X5. Has an iphone app. I prefer it for indoors. Light and long cord. Then I bought an HCR-09 which is bulkier, but has an auto spray function which was better on outdoor buggy windows. No iphone app for the HCR (though the pads are interchangeable. Easy to use outdoors with a portible 110 supply as it draws only 50 watts.) Buy extra pads. You will go through a lot on initial cleaning. Amazing how much grime is on ‘clean’ windows. It is slow, especially when you do 2 or three passes with clean pads each time for the first cleaning. At this price, I ended up buying 2 X5 and 2 HCR-09. The systems are slow, and do require some monitoring. They will sometimes get confused and lock in place, and need a slight move command from the remote to get back on track. I ended up removing the safety lanyards. Extra weight, and they just dont fall. In fact, on large glass doors like a shower, they are smart enough to detect they are at the edge, and reverse course. We have 15 foot window walls and 10 foot sliding glass doors. Getting 4 was worth it. I can do an entire room inside and out in an hour or 2. With one unit, and the multiple passes with clean pads it takes to get a window really polished clean, takes a good part of a day. That would be fine if it was 100% autonomous, but as I mentioned, it will stop (still happily stuck to the glass) every 15-20 minutes, and needs you to use the remote to move it away from an edge that confused it. One other little discovery we made. Glass is actually somewhat ‘porous’ enough for the suction system to work. We have a shower with a 12 foot long by 10 foot high window wall. We had used rainX on it to stop water stains, even with softened water. RainX makes the glass too slippery for the device to climb, and needs to be removed for the ‘window worm’ to do its thing. One thing that would be neet was if there were some kind of pole system or such where I could attach the critter up high, and then get it back down. We have windows whose bottoms are 12 feet up, and I need to use a ladder to climb up to stick it on to do those windows. Not sure how they might do that, but it would be slick. Also a bit baffled why these otherwise clever chinese companies cannot hire a native english speaker to proof the documentation. Its adequate, but you got to wonder ‘Please place the sine on the area beneathed your device so in the evented fall, no one transitting the earth be injurred.’ I am paraphrasing….Great product. Will easily pay for itself in saved third party cleaning fees. And with the 4 units, I can do the whole house monthly, instead of the quarterly I pay a window cleaning service. Stunning how clear a polished window is, versus guys with soap and a squeegee

TL;DR: Got this machine to help out my parents around their house. And (so far) am extremely pleased!Longer version:Parents are getting on in age and I didn’t think they needed to be on ladders, or what not, to clean the windows/doors. Got this to help them out.Found the window suctioning to be quite impressive. Especially considering it is powered by what amounts to be a laptop charger. Can’t speak (just yet) about the smartphone app functionality as it works just fine with its remote.Only real issue I had was using the tether as it became a bit too cumbersome trying to position a hook and keep the cord from wrapping around the device itself so eventually took a risk and used without. Did take extra care to prep the floor with cushions in case of loss of power for whatever reason but do plan to find a better tethering solution.Otherwise, extremely pleased and at that price, I think it’s worth its weight in gold considering the safety aspect.

The media could not be loaded. I live in a high rise condo with amazing views out of floor to ceiling windows, but they are always mucked up with dirt. I can clean the inside by using a tall latter but the outside is another story. I have a small space that is only about 30 inches wide outside so it isn’t big enough for a latter and even if it was that seems really dangerous being 31 stories up in the air. This gadget solved all my problems. My boyfriend was sure it was a scam and there was no way it was going to stick but it worked like a charm. We had cleaned them with a glass pad on a pole but they had all sorts of streaks and water marks, this robot on the other hand has them almost spotless. The instructions were not very detailed but honestly once I got it going there really wasn’t much else for me to do. My only advice is if you are planning to do a bunch of large windows at once buy the extra pads. My windows are 18 ft tall by roughly 4 ft wide. Even though we pre cleaned them the day before this arrived I feel like in order to keep any streaking away it works best with a new set of pads for each window. Are the corners perfect, no. They are still a little smudged but honestly I’m happy with it nonetheless. I could have bought a square machine but the price on this was hundred less. Everyone I have shown is really impressed and we may end up with several of these units in my building. I wish I would have bought this years ago!

Wow…. My family laughed when I said I ordered this. The dinner conversation included statements such as ‘how would it possibly suck to the window’ and ‘there’s no way this is going to work’. They are eating their words.I am beyond impressed.I’m writing this review after the first use, and I will update it to let you know if it is durable.Things you should know: you can’t clean all the windows in one day. I read a review that their robot didn’t work after the first use, and I wonder if they tried to wash every window in their home. I did the front and back of 5 windows today with a break in the middle. It’s probably going to take me forever to get to every window in the house, but one room at a time. The directions are terrible. It comes basically ready to use minus the charging time. It took about an hour for the light to turn green. After 2 windows, I changed the pads. There were no real directions to change them except to make sure the ring was on. They are elastic and just slide on and off. You’re supposed to be able to wash them. It comes with 4 extra sets, so 5 sets total.I just used water. It’s not perfect, but it really came pretty clean. If the pads are dirty, a circle is left behind at the end. I will just wipe it off and hit the edges. Before and after pics. My windows were really dirty.

The media could not be loaded. I was amazed how it cleans the window without falling down, it cleared all the dirt in the first pass and sprayed water in the 2nd pass. Very easy to clean. Definitely recommend to my friends.

This thing is great! I have a lot of large hard to reach windows and this thing suctions strong, zig zags back and forth and gets the cleaning done. Don’t be in a hurry, it’s not quick. And if the windows are super dirty (like mine) it may need 2 or 3 passes to get really clean. For me, I get to my windows every few years, now I’ll do them multiple times a year.

Bought this robot with lots of hesitation because of the reviews. Here to say I’m so happy to choose to try it. it’s awesome. Ignore the negative comments.I recently installed a new window that I can’t reach to clean. This works perfect. Few tricks 1) wash window with wet pads (just one to two sprays of cleaner 2) wash a second time with dry pads you may have to run it twice on dry to remove swirl marks from the pad. I did not but I could see how that may happen. It takes a bit to get it perfect but when I do the windows with a squeegee it takes me one to two passes. At least with this you can walk away and do something else. One review said best Amazon purchase I might have to agree.I bought the not spray version based on customer feedback and also agree the built in spray is not needed I would skip and save a bit of money.

The media could not be loaded. Sophinique X5 Robot really works! I live in a penthouse apartment overlooking the Pacific Ocean with amazing windows I paid to install. Unfortunately, due to a roof issue and dysfunctional HOA, we haven’t had our windows cleaned in 3+ years. I tried the magnets. I bought and bent connecting tubes to washer/squeegees, getting some measure of clean, but it was arduous and ultimately unsatisfactory.Somehow I stumbled upon these robots and after research, bought the X5. It does an amazing job, steady progression, end result is a solid ‘A’ from me. Just make sure the rings are completely snapped into place, have the safety cord properly attached, and let it do its thing. I’ve mostly done the outside windows so far (still feeling like I should own the inside), but my gut says the robot will be doing them all.Only Day 2, but exceptionally pleased with this purchase. I can finally see my million dollar view (without layers of dirt)!
