I am traveling more lately and trying to come up with ways to pack less. This is one way! I always plan on washing some clothes on the trips, but in winter drying is of course. I am about to travel to Iceland and taking this dryer with me. For reference, it is basically blowing hit air on the fabric to make it dry faster. If not drying to completely, it definitely speeds up the process.

Great way to help pack light for an extended trip. Dries fairly quickly and completely. Just hang from the shower bar and turn it on. Very quiet for drying clothes overnight.

It’s great for mine and my wife’s needs. She mostly wanted it for gently and slow, low temp drying of knitted goods like socks or beanies. She washes them in a portable washer then pops them in this for a bit. You can’t just toss a drenched item in there, you do have to wring it out or if possible have the machine wash spin out excess, but this does a good job of finishing the drying for small or delicate items. Great for camping, business travel, whatever. It’s a niche item that won’t be suitable for many things and everyone, but when it IS well suited for your needs, it does a great job, thus I think it’s a great product.

Love the concept of this to dry clothes while traveling, but the container is so small, it limits what you can dry, but it says up to 4.5 pounds. As my first test, I put in a pair of cotton underwear, 1 heavy sock, 1 light sock and a pair of synthetic underwear just out of the washer. I set it up with the hook and forgot about it, and when I checked next morning dryer was off and all were dry. It’s great if it is killing mites, mold and odor: none of which I usually have, but when I get will try. Sometimes I have had smoke in my clothes if I have been where people smoke, but that is rare these days, at least for me, but would like to see how it would work for that.It’s a bit bigger than I would like for traveling especially since I am trying to travel with less, but this could be a substitution for carrying extra clothes that are smaller that I could wash by hand.
