I have both this vacuum and a Bissell Icon pet pro. This is by far a more superior vacuum. It has better suction, is lightweight, and has a longer lasting battery. In the Bissell, I like the easy clean filter and the light, but I have already had to replace my Bissell under warranty because the motor would not turn off and I had to leave it running until the battery died. I had only had it less than a year. I’ve had the Whall over 1 year and have had no issues. I also like the lower profile of the vacuum head as it fits under my cabinets easily, unlike the $300 Bissell. This is an excellent choice in stick vacuums. It’s a little tough to use on carpet, but if you have mostly hard floors and maybe a low profile rug it is easy to use and certainly more reliable and effective than the much more expensive Bissell Icon Pet.

This is the first vacuum that I have owned that handles hair well.The hair we have to deal with is very fine, very long, and extremely strong. It brings most vacuums to their knees usually by wrapping it around the brush and entangling it at the bearings. This then becomes extremely difficult to remove.This vacuum by contrast does the job extremely well. The vast majority of the hair ends up in the canister, and only a small amount is left in the middle of the roller. That was very easy to remove. There was no entanglement with the bearings.When I thought about why we don’t vacuum when we should, it was because the existing vacuums are bulky and tiresome to deal with. This one is easy and lightweight. It has turned out perfectly in that regard and now any small issue is dealt with straight away.The canister works well. Mostly easy to deal with. A little bit of hair is wrapped around the metal filter. If more collects up there, then easy to remove the filter and clear it off.The noise level on low is unlikely to bother anyone in the vicinity. The high speed might if they were close/watching TV, but it does produce noticeable increase in power. The low speed, though, work well enough most of the time.The small head is an asset. Easy to clear stairs and get around other spaces too.Another nice thing is the no musty-bag smell. It doesn’t seem to matter how often you change them, or how good their hepa filters were supposed to be, most of the other vacuums had this problem. This has none of that problem. Given how complete and easy the cleaning is, I don’t expect it to.The low points are on the fixture. As usual, the little screws and plugs are lightweight and better replaced with something more solid, preferably going into a stud. The low-voltage wire was too short for me. Many houses will have the power outside of the closet. I tried to extend the LV cable (there goes the warranty), but I did not have on hand a 12V extension with the same molding. But these are minor things overall.Overall, a big improvement over any of my previous vacuums.

Great little Vac. Had it for 9 months now. I did buy a backup battery and haven’t used it yet. The vac holds its charge pretty well. When I first got it, it held its charge for a week. I have no carpeting throughout my 1500 sq ft apartment. I was able to swoop through all over every night for a week without recharging. Now, 9 months later, I need to charge it every other day. Keeping the power on low when vacuuming.This morning I was vacuuming under my bed, which is pretty low….the handle goes all the way to the floor, love that!….but as I was pulling the vac out from under the bed…I lifted the handle too soon and caught the lid to the dirt container. I somehow managed to snap off that little tiny plastic piece that holds the container closed…UGHHHHHH!!!!! I quick remied it with some scotch tape and it worked to clean up the mess but now I have to figure out if they sell that container separately or if I need to whip out the gorilla glue.That is the only problem with this little vac. All in all, I’m very happy with this purchase. Great suction, 3 speeds. Works great on my granite and wood floors. I use it on area rugs and works great too.

I wanted a stick vac so I could stop sucking up dog hair by bending down with my handheld vac and I don’t want to drag out the regular vac everytime I need to do that. I don’t know why I chose this one, but it certainly works for what I need. My downstairs is mostly tile and I only use this to clean up the dog hair clumps that accumulated around the baseboards and stairs. I don’t ever run it for very long, so I can’t speak to that, but it picks up the hair fantastically. I haven’t had luck, however, with it picking up the clumps of stuffing that comes out of my dogs’ toys, but I’m not sure it’s really made for that and that’s less of a problem for me. It does really well with the grass, dirt, and leaves my dogs drag in from outside also. If you need something simple, this is a good bet.

Perfect for keeping up with my GSD hair and overall cleaning for bare floors and low pile rugs. Charging doesn’t last very long on the high setting though. Definitely need to empty the collection bin frequently to help with that as well.
