This is the second WLUPEL cordless stick vacuum that we have purchased. We were so pleased with the performance and ease of use of the previous model that we decided get another one so we could keep one on the upper floors of our house and one in the lower levels so we don’t have to keep carrying it up and down stairs. This Hero 8 Pro is the updated version of the one we previously purchased. It has slightly longer runtime, and better attachments than the previous versions but is basically the same 400W power. As with any consumer product, it’s important to know what the limitations are and what your vacuuming needs are. This vacuum was a reasonable price and performance for our needs. This is not an industrial plug in vacuum with hurricane force suction. But it’s also not a cheap toy. It has been more than capable for all our hardwood surfaces, curtains, area rugs, and for light pet hair. Because the vacuum is so light and portable, we find ourselves just vacuuming more often and in shorter sessions here and there instead of letting dust, hair, and crumbs build up to an unmanageable amount.Things we like:1. Lightweight and portable – It’s so easy all family members can manage with ease. The attachments have also been great for taking out to the car to clean up crumbs and floor liners.2. Plenty of suction power for most needs – Again, keep in mind the limitations and what you’re trying to vacuum. This is NOT a shop vac in the garage type vacuum.3. Variety of included attachments – We’ve been finding great uses for all the attachments that are included. The attachment that rotates 90 degrees has been super helpful in certain situations. And because you can use the attachments right on the main body of the vacuum, it is super easy to use as a handheld dust buster type vacuum.Things that could use improvement:1. Battery run time – If you get an extra battery, this is a non-issue. Or, if your square area is smaller, you might not need another battery. Keep in mind our tip on stretching out your battery run time. You definitely don’t need full power for things like dust, hair, and crumbs on hard surfaces. We only use full power on carpeted surfaces or area rugs. One quirk we’ve noticed, is that on full power for longer periods of time, the motor sounds like it is “slowing” down. But when we slide the power to lower and then right back to full power, the motor sound is back to the full power sound. I’m wondering if this is designed like this to prolong the battery life. Just keep this “quirk” in mind and do this trick when you need full suction and power for continuous periods of time.2. More durable roller brush – Not sure of the longevity of the roller brush, but it seems the brush will surely wear out and flatten over time. Might be better with a combination of bristles and maybe rubber bristles to last longer. It is nice that it is replaceable if you need to down the line.Tips:1. Get an extra battery. Depending on how long and how large of an area you are trying to vacuum, you may not need an extra battery. For us, we couldn’t vacuum all three floors of our house in one shot. We could just rotate the days and floors we vacuum in between charges, but there are times we just need longer continuous vacuum sessions. Getting the second battery was a game changer. Now we always have a fully charged battery at the ready and don’t need to wait for charging.2. One way to extend your vacuum run time is to not vacuum on full power all the time, especially for lighter jobs, like over hardwood or tiled floors. The stated runtime of 55 minutes most likely is on the lower ends of power output. Wish they would show runtimes at various power settings. But there are other variables that will skew those runtimes, like how full your collection bin is and if your vacuuming over hard surfaces or over a high pile rug.3. Make sure to clean the various filters and dust collection bin regularly. This is an important one because this will greatly increase the longevity of the vacuum. We were lazy about this with our old expensive Dyson vacuum, and am convinced this decreased the efficiency in the long run. Take care of the vacuum and it will provide a much longer life. We try to remember to rinse and clean all the filters and bin twice a month. !!! Remember to FULLY dry all cleaned parts before using the vacuum again !!!4. Don’t handle the accessories roughly. As will most consumer products these days, the plastic pieces and vacuum housing, while very durable, will crack and break if you are too rough with handling them. Even our original Dyson Animal vacuum eventually cracked in places because we handled parts a little rough while rushing to vacuum quickly.5. Empty the collection bin regularly. The bin is not very big, but that’s why the vacuum is so portable and lightweight. We just empty it after each room to keep it running efficiently.6. If you have any issues or concerns, reach out to support right away. We had some questions with our previous WLUPEL vacuum and support was very prompt and helpful in addressing our concerns through email.7. When putting all the pieces and bin back together, it helps to turn the main housing upside down so you can accurately align the bin latch to the main housing. Had a hard time doing it by feel when you can’t see where it’s supposed to line up.

This unit appears to be the big brother of a similar unit I bought a year ago. That was a 400W unit and I loved it. This WLUPEL Cordless Hero 9 is a Diesel Truck compared to the smaller Prius. This is a workhorse that has a light that I don’t like. It is so bright that it easily exposed this bachelor’s poor housekeeping but, I could see when the dirt and hair was gone. Yes, this bachelor was so happy to get the floors cleaned that he overfilled the larger collection container until it stopped picking up. So I emptied it, but it still had little suction. I disconnected the extension tube from the canister and found it plugged with dog hair (now where did that come from?). Pushed the hair into the canister area and removed the metal shield to clear it. Still little suction. I checked the tube and that was clear, but had another plug between the pick-up brush and the attachment onto the tube. Removed both and it worked great. Note to self, the included tool is not long enough to clear plugs at the vacuum head or the intake container. Don’t overfill. Now, if you can stop laughing, I’ll give you my rundown on this vacuum.Although it only describes itself as a 450W unit, it sure seems to be more powerful. For one thing, the battery lasts at least 3 times longer than the smaller unit battery. AND, a major upgrade is that the unit can be charged while in the wall cradle without having to remove the battery – very nice indeed. The display is large enough to read without my glasses, and if you read the instructions, you will learn that the 3 speeds are color coded. The attachments and the vacuum tube are very similar to the smaller unit but this brush-head has a couple of nice upgrades. One, you could use the LED’s on it in place of your car high beams. Second, the roller case had a clear top so now one can see if the roller has accumulated too much hair or threads (or shoe laces) without having to turn it over. In future designs, I hope that add a furniture pet hair head as an accessory. The one on my corded vacuum, which I no longer use, is about ½ the width of this brush head but easier to use on furniture. In any case, this larger head worked nicely on my queen size bedspread where my Aussie spends most of the day.Other improvements, the collection canister is much larger, but evidently not quite large enough for my studio. But the most significant change is that the canister can be emptied without disengaging it from the machine. That was something that I did not like on the smaller unit. The handle and canister are other interesting upgrades. The vacuum motor is actually “locked” on top of the canister and the battery is in the handle which can detach. When the handle is disengaged from the canister and the vacuum motor, which is very easy to do with the press of a button, the contacts become visible. I’m not sure if and how often these contacts may need cleaning, but if you start having problems, that may be an easy fix.Now the part that could use a bit more engineering is how the handle clips onto the canister. I’ve attached a photo. At the bottom of the canister, just above the door that opens, is a lip that forms the pivot point (or a buckle) for the handle. It took me a few tries and a second reference to the manual to determine just how these two puzzle pieces fit together. Now that I know, it clicks together easily. But with this design that empties easier and charges in the cradle, one may never need to separate the handle from the collection container. (Once, when I reconnected the handle to the canister, the vacuum ran for a few seconds and then shut down. I released it and made sure it was mated properly and it worked fine.)So far, the only downsides are the LED lights that expose the dust too clearly and that hinge puzzle connection which one may never have to decipher unless you plug the unit (as I did) and have to disassemble it a bit to clean it out. The photo with the yellow arrows points to this connection point. (See note to self above.)The pros –Units battery can charge while in its wall mount!!! (and the new holder for attachments is nice.)Greater suction on both hard surfaces and carpet.Greater capacity of the canister and easier emptying. The roller in the brush head can be viewed from the top to check for wrapped threads or hair that may need clearing.Yes, it cost a bit more, but is well worth it.

The media could not be loaded. This is more powerful than I was expecting. It’s powerful enough and prefect for me to quickly get up my pet hair, to clean the staircase, and to get into small spots. Its so light and easy to switch attachments. I like this little vacuum for it’s convenience, being able to grab it in a literal second. I am using it mainly to pick up stray cat litter that has found its way outside the box. I have hardwood floors. So much easier than a broom. Operation time is plenty sufficient for what I just listed, and also our aide vacuums cat hair from the sofa. This vacuum automatically adjust the suction power when you chose auto setting, according to the debris it senses in front of it, absolutely a cool feature. Also, the power trigger requires a 2 sec hold to turn the vacuum off, my other vacs do not have this feature and often while cleaning your fingers tends to click the trigger accidentally and switch off the device, that can be annoying, but this is not the case with this vacuum from WLUPEL.Also I like that it stands up by itself, no need really to use the included wall bracket. You can hold it over the trash can and push a button and the lid falls open and the debris drops out. No dust blows out while emptying. Pretty much lies flat so you can go deeply under furniture, etc. Swivel is awesome. Tools included are good. Battery is removable / replaceable. Charges up quickly enough for my needs. So there are many other vacuums like this one, but this one gave the features important to me for a good price. I absolutely love it!

After years of using a bulky traditional corded Bissell vacuum, I decided it was time to upgrade. The fact this is cordless and lightweight was the biggest selling point for me. I have a lab mix, so I am always vacuuming my floors. I’ve been using the new vacuum a couple times per day for just over a week. I’m finding that it works great for my purposes! I have mostly hardwood and linoleum in my home with only a few rugs and a carpeted family room. This works perfectly on my wood floors and is especially nice to vacuum my stairs. I will note that the battery life needs improvement. It goes within 15-20 minutes of use I am finding so it requires quite a bit of charging. It’s not much of an issue for me but if you did need heavy vacuuming for long amounts of time or have a huge house, you’ll probably want a longer battery life.Pros:- Lightweight- Cordless- Gets in hard to reach areas- Works well on pet and human hairCons:- Battery life is very short- Does not stand by itself / requires mount- No easy to use hose for dustingOverall, this is a great little vacuum that is worth the price!

This vacuum is amazing. It is extremely lightweight yet has strong suction. Incredibly easy to maneuver. I was pleased with the easy-to-follow instructions. My photo shows the vacuum attached to the battery charger that I mounted on my wall – which I really like. Make sure that the vacuum head rests on the floor, otherwise, the battery will not attach to the charger. The two attachments work well and are easy to use. The price is very reasonable for such a high-performing vacuum. I showed it to my family this past weekend, and they all want one now too.

The media could not be loaded. Vacuuming has never been so fun and convenient! The vacuum cleaner is ultra light and compact, very easy to setup and break down for storage. I really like the color purple too :-). The suction settings are powerful and it does the job with ease. I also like the light that’s included, which allows you to spot all crumbs and “micro fuzzies” that you would typically miss without it. The light is powerful! In respect to battery life, no worries. Fast easy charging, and it lasts for about 50-55 minutes (depending on suction settings). If you’re in a cleaning routine like me (clean once a week), you’ll have more than enough battery life to get through. Yes friends, I recommend this vacuum cleaner. A+. Enjoy and happy cleaning ;-).

The media could not be loaded. I love to have a clean house, but hate lugging around a heavy vacuum and frankly struggle to find storage for traditional vacuum cleaners . This vacuum cleaner hangs on the wall, which keeps it out of the way, but very easily accessible .On top of that always having to find a plug to plug it in where the cord can reach far enough and then, because we have six children, a child seems to be always tripping over the cord and unplugging it!My husband encouraged me to try a stick vacuum, and we started with a corded just to try out its power and suction capability to see if it could keep up with her house full of children tracking in sandy feet! We began with the Wlupel corded stick vacuum. I fell in love with how light it was how easy to maneuver throughout the house and its ability to pick up just about everything. After having it for about two years, I decided to upgrade to the cordless Wlupel stick, vacuum cleaner, which was even more impressive as it had a rotating brush that did a great job on the carpets throughout the house.I told myself “my dream vacuum” would be a stick vacuum that could maneuver just as well with just as much power, but they didn’t have to be plugged in to be charged as sometimes the children will put it away while forgetting to plug it in. :(The very best upgrade would be to just hang it on the dock, and it would automatically charge without having to be plugged in every time! When this final upgrade came out and affordable price, I said I gotta try it!!!I have been very pleasantly surprised I’ve never been willing to pay $500 for a namebrand vacuum as we have many children that love to help clean and accidentally drop it sometimes. I’m not willing to spend that much on a vacuum but this offbrand stick vacuum has been incredible!I’ll go over pros and consPros:-Strong suction capability (our home is plank vinyl flooring with lots of area rugs)-One touch, extremely easy canister to empty!-Easily maneuvers in every room under beds under couches under tables between chairs, my absolute favorite part!!-Light enough that I can lift it up to vacuum, dust, and cobwebs in every corner of the house without having to get up on the stool-Long enough battery life that I can clean the entire house without having to recharge-Lights on the front of the brush, make it ideal for finding out where dirt is hiding!-Brush his thin enough that fits under most everywhere so I don’t have to bend down to clean under drawers, dressers cabinetsVery easy and smooth swivel head-After staying with this company for four years or more if I’ve ever needed customer service the answer very quickly and send replacement part right away! Honestly, amazing customer service!Cons:Canister is made of plastic, which if dropped can break

I love this vacuum. It is quiet and powerful, making cleaning up easy, especially after pets and dealing with everyday dirt and debris. As someone who owns a dog, I know how important having a reliable and efficient vacuum cleaner is.One of the great features of the WLUPEL vacuum is its adjustable poles. Unlike my old vacuum cleaner, the Dyson V6 Animal, which had plastic poles, this is much more ergonomic and comfortable to use for long periods. The pole/stick length can be adjusted to your height, which makes it easier to hold and maneuver the vacuum into tight spaces and also store.Another feature that sets the vacuum apart from the Dyson is the power on/off button. The Dyson requires me to hold down the power button continuously while vacuuming. This vacuum has a far more user-friendly design that allows you to turn the vacuum on and off with a push of the power button. This is nice if you need to use the vacuum for any period. It reduces hand fatigue and makes it much easier to hold—my hand cramps after holding the Dyson power button down continuously. The digital battery indicator is a nice feature. The vacuum has different power settings, though I have found that leaving it in auto mode extends the battery life and it can sense the power needed by how dirty the floor is. The digital display tells you how much battery life is remaining and I seem to have enough charge for multiple cleanings. Additionally, the battery can be easily removed and charged directly, which means, in theory, you could keep a spare battery on hand to ensure you never run out of power mid-clean – Im hoping they sell spares too! The Dyson battery isn’t designed to be removed. The LED brush headlight is another excellent feature. The light illuminates the area you’re vacuuming, making it very easy to see any dirt or debris that may be hiding. This feature is particularly beneficial when cleaning in dark corners or under furniture, where dirt can accumulate unseen. Finally, the dirt canister is incredibly easy to remove and attach. In conclusion, the WLUPEL vacuum makes cleaning a lot easier. From the adjustable aluminum stick/poles and user-friendly power button to the digital battery indicator and LED headlight.

Lasted 3 months, now it doesn’t work anymore. Will turn on, then turns off within seconds. So disappointed
