Having tried a number of security cams, and Wyze cams are the best value and their reliability stands out. This model auto-pans if wanted, is instantly and continuously viewable from anywhere, has good software that will simultaneously display 4 live cams at once, and Wyze offers several very affordable cloud and monitoring plans.The WiFi radio is far better than the competitors I have tried and access is immediate for all locations around the perimeter of my house. Picture quality is high and color is great. Adjustable motion detection can be fine-tuned, sound monitoring and recording optional. Indoor-outdoor design is very versatile. Highly recommend.

I bought this camera because I travel a lot and I am gone from home for months at a time. Since I live in Florida, being able to check on the house after a storm is a must! Recently, I got an alert that there was a person at my front door, I checked the playback and discovered someone trying to break into my house! I used the siren function to scare them off and saved the video and pictures to my phone. I called the sheriff and when he came to my door was able to give them a description of the person using the camera! I was able to upload the video and pictures and the suspect was tracked down quickly.The good:1. The ability to pan and track is a must. I normally have my cameras set in one position, but the pan feature allows tracking of people and pets that would otherwise move out of the view of the camera.2. Great night vision. With a little light I get a great color picture, and without any lighting, I get a good picture from the infrared lights, which light up my back yard, to around 100 feet.3. 360 degree view, and about 300 degrees up and down.4. The price is outstanding5. Waterproof – During the recent hurricane Idalia, my house received over 6 inches of rain. I have rain pouring off the camera, and it worked great!6. Easy set up. Each camera only takes about 10 minutes to completely set up.7. Ability to capture and download videos/pictures real time.The not-so-good:1. The algorithm isn’t the greatest. I occasionally get trees swaying and lighting change notifications, though it has gotten much better recently.2. USB power supply, while great inside, not so much outside, so I had to be resourceful powering these up. One I have a lightbulb socket adapter, but the exterior light must be powered 24/7. Another was near an outlet on my back porch and I bought a USB extension cable. Lastly, I bought a 120v to USB converter and rewired my side porch light for power.3. The mount: Unlike Blink cameras, the camera comes with a mount, but its uses are very limited.All-in-all, this is a great camera for the price and I couldn’t be more pleased!

I got this camera just on a whim. My other WYZE cameras are stationary. The install was easy and I’m pretty tickled with the pan-tilt option and it’s wide range of options. The tracking option is the most interesting since you can watch the camera follow whoever comes into it’s view. Works great.

I have had several cameras over the years. 15 years ago I had a whole house camera system installed so I could monitor the activities of my elderly parents in the event that they fell or needed help. That System lasted about 10 years before the hard drive failed, and sadly the cameras are just out of date. I then purchased a pair of moving head cameras that I could control with my phone app. However, I don’t believe they were very secure because occasionally I would see them move on their own. That’s creepy! And of course I invested in the ring cameras, which are great except they are expensive.Then six months ago, I saw the advert for the Wyze Pan Cam 3.How great are they? I purchased one, then a second, then a third, and today I have received my fourth! Incredibly easy to use, simple to set up, connects to your Wi-Fi in just a few steps, — what’s not to like? Plus the Pan 3 follows and even identifies the object, whether it be a person or a car or an animal.I have one of these for the outside front of my house, for my backyard, and two inside my home.For the money, I’m extremely happy with my purchase. Do not hesitate, you will not be dissatisfied.

We got 3 of the Wyze cameras. They were extremely easy to set up. We’re using them to monitor the activity of an elderly loved one. We didn’t set up the recording service so we just livestream the activity but it still captures snaps. All three were installed and active within 10 minutes including mounting. The quality of the daylight and night vision is excellent. The best part is the ability to name each camera location and group them together so all 3 can be seen at once on your phone or individually for focused attention. The camera swivel doesn’t make any noticeable noise so you become oblivious to the camera unless you happen to look at the station while it is in motion.I suggest taking time to plan for placement of the cameras for maximum coverage.The downside of the cameras are they tend to lose connection frequently when there isn’t any activity in the area so you have to nudge it awake.
