I bought the valve, controller and several sensors for a water link detection system from YoLink. I had an issue with the controller, and YoLink quickly sent me another which solved the problem and now the system works very well. Contact with their tech support was quick and easy both online and by phone, which earns huge points in my book. No long wait times, they were very quick to answer my call and very quick to respond to emails, and they solved my problems and answered my questions very well. Good customer service – 5 stars. I wish all companies had this kind of service. I later bought the hub and another sensor and added them to the system. The installation was a breeze. Couldn’t have been easier. The products were well made and well packaged and easily connected to the hub and the app. A hint that I would pass on if you are pairing sensors to the controller without the hub and app: Close the valve first, then pair the sensor to the controller, then open the valve and then test with water on the sensor contacts. Repeat for other sensors to install. Don’t try to pair with the valve open is the key – be sure it’s closed. Thanks YoLink for a good product that does exactly what it’s supposed to do and at what I believe is a very fair price.

I needed to detect flooding on my patio, a left-open freezer door, and water leaks various places. I wanted to be alerted by text messages to my phone, notifications, and emails to me and other house occupants. I think you will find that getting such a combination in sensing and alerting is difficult to find. This company has offers all of this at very affordable prices. Also the user interface for their app is clear, the documentation is excellent, and the installation and setup are straight forward. I only had one problem in setting up the door sensor, but a quick call to the help line fixed that in five minutes. I am an electrical engineer, and very much appreciate the execution of these products, which have a lot of complexity going on under the hood. I cannot yet comment on the reliability, but expect they have done their homework in that regard too. I designed and built a soil moisture sensor for my own use that uses technology similar to theirs, with radio links and wifi connection to the internet. It was not an easy design. What a pleasure to just unbox their gadgetry, set it up quickly, and just have it work. Highly recommended.

I have over 100 YoLink devices now. These devices are brilliant. They are (by far) the least expensive brand of home automation products, have a MUCH longer range than all others, and simply work perfect – all of the time. This company is going places. I’ve reached out to their customer support (open 7 days per week and staffed by real humans!) and they have solved my minor setup queries instantly. I just don’t have enough good things to say about this company. If you’re thinking about switching to YoLink – DO IT! I was paid nothing for this review – I simply love this company. Bravo YoLink!

I bought this to link to my thermostat that I put in a deep freezer. With this it will alert me if something happens to the freezer and the temperature rises. Sends email, text, phone notification. It was super easy to setup.

I bought the HUB and 5 devices. Installation was easy. All you had to do is download the YoLink app set up an account, plug hub into router and scan the QR code. Adding devices was even easier, just scan the device QR code using the app and you’re done. The range is incredible. I put the motion sensor in my metal mailbox so I would know when it was opened. The Hub is in my basement at the other end of the house. No problem with reception. Now I get alerted when my mailbox is opened. Alexa integration was easy too.Now when when I get mail I also have Alexa announcing … “You’ve got mail”. Very useful. I’m also using their water leak detection and power outage detection. Next device is a vibration detection to monitor my home generator.The YoLink app has many options to customize alert behavior that I found useful.I had a question and called Customer Service. They were very helpful.

The app could use a refresh but what a solid product. I started off with a couple of sensors and am now at 33 in my house and have my mothers whole house wired as well.

Easy to connect. You need this hub in order to control your yo link devices I am very pleased with my smart water valve. It gives me great peace of mind I’ve got it on a schedule so it’s on when we’re home and awake off when we are sleeping and away Love it!

I have 9 water leak sensors and 2 refrigerator sensors. The water sensors have been added in the last six months, and have already saved me from two potential disasters. My hub started giving me problems, so I purchased a new hub to replace it. I had difficulties getting it to bind with my existing system, and customer support–by email–rectified the problem very quickly. I am very happy with YoLink.
